I can't speak for everyone here but my children's former counselor was horrible. After attending several sessions with them I discovered she doesn't even address any of the issues with the family but plays board games with them instead.

It never matters how long you've been away or why you left. It doesn't matter what brings you back in or what motivates you to stay. When you walk through that doorway as an addict you know that here you are safe.You know that here there is help when you need someone to still care. You know that you are not alone. And sometimes being able to know that means more to some of us than anyone will ever understand.
