“This place is awesome! A real small business operated by locals. Theyre prices and quality on produce are the best around, lots of michigan grown products. I love the case prices on produce as well, it helps is eat well and save a ton on groceries. I always leave Ken’s with heavy bags and a heavy wallet!”
“This Aldi is quite a bit bigger than the one by our house. It has a lot more items. We love all Aldi stores, but this one is one of the better ones.
We still drive to this ALDI every week. It's the best one on 28th St.”
“I had initially been terrified to enter because of the idea of having to package and bring my own containers- after my first encounter on Saturday I can easily say I highly recommend this place. For reference I got peanut butter in a normal size jar I would normally spend 8-9$ on in the store, I watched my peanuts be crushed and strewn into the jar of my choosing and then only paid $7.11 for it. The facial toner I tried was only $1.89 !!!! I’m obsessed, the staff member there on Friday was attentive and EXCITED to show me around! I love the passion behind the work and it really shows here.”

“This Aldi has a great selection of groceries, at an affordable price at an awesome location, with accessible checkouts and hours. Also, a worker at this Aldi named Bailey, who was working at the checkouts, went above and beyond to be helpful, courteous, and kind, when I had a much more complex, and potentially difficult transaction.”
“OUR HOUSEHOLD LOVES HORROCKS! Beautiful produce for similar prices as the big stores, or even cheaper. Also has beautiful meat and cheese section. The fresh food/deli counter is also awesome.
Only complaint? Gumbolaya. Could you not. That is such a disgrace to Cajun food. No. Just no.”
“They don't have everything, but what they have is all the basics plus more. And I don't have to play any 'points games' to get good prices. I can get in and out in less than 20 minutes with a whole week's worth of groceries. If there is anything wrong with your item(like rotten potatoes) they give you another AND refund your money. When was the last time Meijer did that!”
“My favorite grocery store! The meat counter in the back has so many great cuts. Love the whole chickens! The pita chips are made in house and to die for. My kids love picking out different drinks to try. Support local.”
“Come here every now and then when I do door dash. Every time the staff are all so helpful, they engage in conversation and walk you to the item you are looking for. Most places just point or tell you a aisle number. But every time im lost here someone is there to help.”
“The store is well-organized and tidy. They could improve on their customer service; when you walk in, you don't receive a greeting. However, after speaking with the owner, she was okay. Additionally, many of their items need price tags. Despite these issues, I encourage you to support them. Thank you.”
“In-store shopping - 5 stars. Generally well stocked and clean, kind and quick staff.
Not sure if I will do curbside pickup again though. $1.99 for them to do the order, which isn't terrible. They started doing my order late per text notification. I also got notifications of if they were out of something and if it was ok to substitute it. The order was barely ready when I arrived at 12pm. I chose the 12pm-1pm pickup slot. Then I got charged for 2lb of bananas and got maybe 1lb.”
“We were preparing for a graduation party. We had no idea how much food we needed, so we asked Gordon's to give us an estimate? We went with their quantities, paid for it, and took it home. After the party, we came to the realization that we had way too much food leftover. The quantities were over and above what we actually used. We ended up giving our unopened leftovers away to other parents who had grad parties coming up. I can't really blame Gordons because we estimate that 23 people invited didn't attend, but for your own peace of mind, please do some homework and don't take their figures at face value. Even if the 23 had attended, we still would have had extra!”
“Found Maureen’s credit card walking through the door and turned it in to customer service. I’m wondering if I should have waited for the bank to open and dropped it off there. I went in to the store to buy bread and found the isle for bread. The overhead signs are the best place to look, when nobody is around. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived just after 6:00 this morning, and the store was open. I’m definitely going back to get all my groceries!”

“Good local grocery store - well laid out and very clean. Seems to have most needs, and offers State lottery tickets, as well as cigarettes and Spirits.
Prices seem a little higher than what you'd find at a Walmart or Meijer, but you have plenty of high-quality items to choose.
Plenty of free parking on a surface lot. Handicapped accessible.”
“It was Wednesday afternoon at 2pm when I was last there. They were very busy and only had 5 registers open. Each lane was 5 customers deep. I heard them call for "urgent cashiers" "urgent baggers" but no one responded. I used one of the limited self checkout because I only had 2 items.
I'm not sure if this is the norm or not.”
“Spent way too much money this morning but the clearance area had good deals. Too good of deals to pass up so loaded up on stewed tomatoes and family size tuna at great prices. I bought vitamins I thought were a good deal. 180 count but serving size is 2. So 3 months worth of vitamins for 43 bucks.”

“We weren't at Meijer, but the Country Inn Suites nextdoor. My sweet Honey is from NC and wasn't prepared for the cold. Good thing, I bought her Halloween costume with us and she wore it with no chewing or pulling at it. She was cold. She is my sweet Honey Bee”
“If making a delivery to this store they don’t allow overnight parking and the receiving lady isn’t very pleasant when checking in . However they do have a restroom inside the store and the staff encountered inside the store were polite and friendly. When coming in on Hwy 21 you will turn left onto Gazin st and follow the drive into the store to the docks there is room to turn around to dock not a difficult dock. I delivered on 7/8/24 some material for the remodel inside the store and the crew I dealt with were helpful and gave me guidance as to where they needed their supplies.”
