I’ll admit the prices are a bit higher than some other grocery stores but I don’t see that as that much of an issue. My biggest concern is the produce. The past couple times I went here the produce just seemed bleh. Onions had fruit flies flying around them, their heads of lettuce were browning on the bottom rapidly, their potatoes have darker spots than most. It just seems like they don’t look at their produce often. It also seems like they sell out often when there is a sale which is a first sight for me. When I return to this Stop & Shop, I will take pictures of any produce I do not think should sold.

I can explain my experience at stop and shop today with only one word: sensational. As someone who often gets judged for my snack selections, I was extremely grateful for a young man named Noah Rondina, who encouraged my choice of dill pickles (oval shaped ridges). I personally believe this gentleman deserves a raise for his impressive skills at the cash register. I am forever indebted to you Noah, and your neighborly attitude towards me and my friends.

The store manager "Tina" should take a class in dealing with disabled employees. She's a bully with very limited management skills. Her job is to hear both sides of an issue before automatically taking the side of her "friend ". It's difficult enough for disabled people to get work, never mind the challenge of dealing with a manager who calls the police for absolutely no reason! (nothing came of this, other than complete embarrassment). I have never seen such cruelty from an assistant manager and a cashier. Some understanding and empathy would do them (and potential employees who may have disabilities) a world of good. How disgusting and unprofessional. Maybe Stop&Shop should pay more, so they could hire better managers!

Too expensive now. Myself and many other shoppers listened as an employee instructed other employees to remove the 99 cent recycling bags from check out area, and replace them with 1.99 bags. It's getting bad here. The ones who live here year round, and work 80 hour weeks during the tourist season, cannot afford to live here anymore, becoming homeless, even with 2 adults working 40+ hours a week. And now food prices have gone through the roof.

This is my usual location but I find in comparing it with the West Yarmouth Long Pond location it is os inferior. It does not offer specific items ( such as Biegeow orange cinnamon herbal tea and Cheesecake factory bread) as well as a much smaller selection of items. It also does not seem as clean as the other branch and also the one in South Dennis. Time to pay attention to customers.

I purchased a rotisserie chicken today at Stop & Shop on Station Avenue at about 2:00 pm. I didn't take it apart until later because I was using it for a stew. Good thing, because the chicken was not cooked all the way through. The breast meat was flacid & bloody near the bone. Had I been purchased it to eat right away I would have returned it!

Good convenient location, small size stop/shop, only slight problem being that size, a lot of times they run out of items, or stick a great item I like, lol, then couple months later.. it's gone
