I ordered a love seat and a sofa and it got delivered yesterday. However the love seat and the sofa combination is way to big for my appartment. I will keep the sofa but i called the store to find out if i can return the love seat because as much as i love it, its just too big for my 600 sqf aprt. They said they will take the love seat back but there is a 20% restocking fee. Mind you, it was not a special order, it was not packed in any way, it literally came off their display floor, so i asked if the restocking fee can be waved, they said no. If it was a special ordered and nicely packed and deliveres to me i would understand the restocking fee but to charge a customer to return a brand new item is just so not right. Do better!

After an exhausting move during 4th of July weekend we went to the New Bedford Bob's to buy a mattress. The service was horrible from the start but we did find a mattress we liked. We then found out they didn't have it in stock & We would have to wait for it to be delivered Thursday @ 12. Thursday we went to pick it up and were told it wasn't delivered and we would have to go to Yarmouth or wait til Sat. After being aggravated & frustrated we decided to drive to Yarmouth. Upon arrival we found out the mattress was actually delivered on Wed!! NB nvr even looked!! With Tabor & the manager Mark( I believe) help, They made the situation less stressful. They offered to deliver the mattress to our house in their own vehicles and any other help we may have needed. They felt horrible about NB screw up and couldn't help us enough. We definitely will be driving to the Yarmouth location for any future furniture purchases. I can't express enough how amazing they both are. If you are in the process of looking for furniture go to the Yarmouth Bobs & Ask for Tabor & Mark. (Manager) You will not be dissapointed. Thanks Guys you are the best!!!

I bought a wood bed frame a from these people a while back. It seemed like decent quality but it collapsed after a year while I was in it. I was simply lying still watching netflix. I wasn't too badly hurt thankfully. I went in to talk to someone to see what the warranty was and to get a copy of my receipt. The sales associate showed no sympathy or even emotions when I explained why I was there. She also refused to look up my receipt saying she had better things to do. When I asked for her manager she got him and he was even less sympathetic, his body language and attitude screamed "why are you bothering me, I don't care". All in all, these are some absolutely horrible people and the quality of their products is suspect at best. I recommend shopping somewhere else, anywhere else, for furniture.

The store keep the items at affordable price. I bought several household items from them. I'm happy about that. The sales man was very helpful and patient. The delivery guy is very professional and super friendly.

We went to several places in October looking for a loveseat, and no one could deliver til Spring, and little inventory. We decided to look into Bob's. The showroom was overflowing with furniture, lots of sofas and loveseats to choose from. We found exactly what we wanted, at a great price, and set up delivery for the following week. Delivery charge is $55.00 cash. Two guys brought the loveseat in, all wrapped in cardboard and plastic, and set it on its back. They are ready to leave and they say, just screw the legs on. I said, please take the wrapping off so I can see my furniture. They obliged, and I asked about the legs (are there predrilled holes?) One guy went out and got the battery screwdriver and put the legs on. They are ready to leave. I said, can you right the sofa please, I can't do it by myself and I want to see the sofa. (The last thing you want to find is some spots or marks, how would you prove your sofa arrived like that). So the two guys (it took TWO of them, righted the sofa. ) Sofa was fine and they left. The moral is: be persistent tell them to set up your furniture, one person cannot do it alone. You are paying $55.00 and ask when you purchase if they set up. No surprises that way. Oh, and we love our loveseat.

My husband and I initially went here for a bed set. It was the floor model we had to take so the nice lady discounted it a bit for us. Super easy to put together so we loved that part. The only downside was no one else could go and pick it up beside me, as well as their delivery options aren’t the most favorable. On day of pick up we also bought a dining room table and chairs. The gentleman who I assume was the manager that day was awesome and incredibly nice. It’s not the best quality furniture but equal in what you pay. I would recommend my friends and family here 10000%!

I cannot say enough positive things about this furniture store. I called looking for a round table dining room set, and just my luck, they had one! The young woman who answered the phone was helpful and courteous which made me go right down to the store. All of the staff was professional, friendly, and encouraging throughout my browsing the store. They were able to deliver my new dining room set that evening. Tabor was wonderful. He called before he made the delivery, and when he arrived, he was friendly and very professional. He set up the table in a matter of minutes, and he took the time to show me how the leaf in the table worked. I have purchased several furniture items from this store in the past, and they never disappoint. Bob's discount home store is a wonderful place to purchase furniture with a no-pressure, friendly, professional atmosphere. It's nice to know that there are still places like this on Cape Cod. Thank you again!!!

They offer second class furniture but it's adequate for a summer home on the Cape. You're limited on places to purchase furniture on the Cape to begin with so Bob's is probably the best option in the Yarmouth area. My concern is with the delivery service we ended up using. There is a gentleman named Tabor who works at the store selling furniture. He also has a delivery business he runs on the side. We purchased a bedroom set and had some box springs and mattresses to get rid of. Tabor told us the regular deliver charge would be $50 but that's all you get. They wouldn't take the old mattresses. However, he said he would deliver the bedroom set and take the mattresses as well. The implication was that he would offer some additional services so I assumed he would set up the new bed frame. He said this would cost $160. I knew there would be a disposal charge for the old mattresses so I felt if he was setting up the new frame that wouldn't be too bad. So we agreed (actually he reduced the price to $150). I should have confirmed he was setting up the new frame and done some more homework. As it turns out, the fee to discard the two mattress and box spring sets was only about $40. And he didn't set up the new frame. So he made off with an extra $50 for about 10 minutes of work. My bad for not doing more investigation. But I really felt like I was taken advantage of. So my advice: go down the street and rent a U-Haul van ($20 plus mileage) and take care of it yourself. Whatever you do, DON"T USE "T-HAWK REMOVAL service. It's a rip-off. And because of this part of the transaction alone, we won't be buying anything from Bob's in the future.

My sincere apologies for the miscommunication Mr. Aller however the removal consisted of two mattresses and two box springs which totaled a $80 dump fee, the remainder balance went to a portion of gas and my help for the job. I would have gladly set up the frames for you but you did indeed tell me at the store “I can handle the set up there is not much to it.” That being said if you requested I would have had no problems doing so for you.

They had exactly what I wanted, in stock, at a price lower than I had expected to pay. Delivery was available for the very next business day. Staff was courteous and helpful. I always prefer to shop local rather than big box stores, and I'm glad I did. I would recommend this business, and I'm sure to return in the future.
