Worst banking experience ever. Incompetent employee caused me to not know what documents I needed to bring in on my second try to open an account. I’m done with BOA.

I made a cash deposit in the amount of $1,100.00 last Tuesday, April 11, 2023, the message “processing your operation, wait” appeared in the quick teller. I waited for 30 minutes, the money didn't go into my account, and it didn't come back to the machine. I called the bank and they said they would make a credit of the total amount until the deadline of April 14th (Friday). Today is Sunday the 16th, the money has not been credited. I have video of the screen where it shows that they were “processing the operation”. I do not indicate the use of this atm so as not to pass the frustration that I am going through.

Unless you are absolutely and hopelessly dependent on BOA online features, I would encourage everyone to bank local - This bank makes me feel like an account number and not a human. Your personal/business banking needs as well as your precious time is laughably meaningless to the horrendous banking behemoth that is BOA. I truly wish they paid the people at this bank enough to enjoy or at least care about their jobs / banking abilities / skill sets so they could actually help their customers when we need in-person banking services - but alas - it seems we have now all traded the traditional warm greeting and competent in-person banking for a hand-full of shiny new online banking features - welcome to the Comcast of banking folks. it only gets worse from here…

Trying 20 times to call them on the phone and only response is for a recording to say they’re busy. I cannot believe that they always are too busy ever to answer the phone. The appearance is that they will not answer a phone at this local branch. I received a letter that I need to come in person to this branch but I’m traveling for several weeks. They need to answer their phone. Poor showing.
