Wonderful place. Fresh picked apples. Friendly people. I used to go here when I was a little child sixty years ago, and it is still fantastic.

Cash or check only. IDK the particulars of updating the options, but can you imagine the amount of people walking out because of this?

We’ve been coming to The Big Apple for years to pick blueberries and apples, and it’s always a great experience. The fruit is always fresh, and after picking, we make sure to grab some apple cider and donuts—both are fantastic.
It’s a family tradition we look forward to every year. If you’re into picking your own fruit or just enjoying some good cider and donuts, The Big Apple is the place to check out.

Best apples around. Fantastic doughnuts and cider. They have a great variety of home made products. I go there to pick apples.

Fun time with family. The farm stand had many nice options including Carmel wraps to make caramel apple, apple cider, apple cider donuts. They also have items like hot peppers and other usual farm stand items. Out in the orchard they had all the different apple trees labeled. Unfortunately the honeycrisp apples had passed peak by the time we got there but there are plenty of other options. Prices weren't bad either, You can get a big bag of apples for 40$ a smaller bag for 20$, so All in all the good time.

Unfortunately, it’s just not what it used to be.
I went to the big apple yesterday to relive a core memory I had as a child with my grandmother who has since passed.
We always looked forward to going because we would get the warm apple cider donuts, and I loved to dip the donuts in a cup of cold cider.
When I went to the big apple yesterday, I I saw on a shelf, some donuts bagged with visible Steam, So I knew those were warm.
When I went to the counter to ask about warm donuts, they said that they didn’t serve them warm anymore. I told the Young workers there that I did see a bag with Condensation On the inside of the bag The clear plastic, I asked if I could purchase that bag. They told me no.
It’s sad, that they changed their ways and customer service just isn’t the same anymore. That core memory that I had coming here with my grandmother will never happen again.
Just for that reason, I will never probably come back here.

I’ve been going to the Big Apple in the autumn since I was a child. I decided to take my toddler on a Sat in Sept to visit the store and see the donuts getting made. I was sad to see how sparse the store was! There were many baked goods, but there weren’t any candied apples! The honey sticks are gone. The bakery racks block the windows where you used to watch the donut assembly line ( the donuts are still deicious) & the large apple conveyor in the back wasn’t running. Sad compared to years past.
