Never thought I’d be doing a bad review, as I have shopped here in the past, with no problems…..But I just bought a piece of furniture the other day, All wood, From this place and brought it home only to find a nest of cockroaches. Eggs. Large and small roaches. I’m absolutely disgusted. They must have been hiding in there pretty well because it had been cleaned out by me and one other person and this was not visible. They need to be checking their inventory so this doesn’t happen to others. This isn’t something that can easily go away. This is going to cost so much more money than what the piece of furniture was worth. I would like my money back and I am never going to shop here ever again.

Asked people in the front of the store to help my very pregnant girlfriend get access to the bathroom and noone wanted to help. They would rather talk and stand around.

RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE simply asked for a return on an item and the lady started yelling for no reason and disrespecting my family and telling us to read the receipt when I asked a simple question and started mumbling under her breath after the situation was over. She started trying to be petty and argue with my young daughter who is 15 calling her a little girl over a simple question and got mad when she wouldn’t let her yell at us…. GHETTO ESTABLISHMENT !!!! GHETTO WORKERS.. if you can’t handle a simple question without having a tantrum don’t work in customer service.

I wasn’t in personally, but two friends were there today. They wanted to buy some things, but apparently the place smelled so badly they didn’t want to buy anything from that location. It smelled like urine and stench,… We’re actually contacting the Board of Health so we can help them get better at what they do. Savers in Worcester should be a good resource for the public, and those in need. Allowing the place to be barely tolerable, intolerable to some, doesn’t seem to be the savers standards.

I have been a long time visitor of many Savers locations and I will say that this location is one of my preferred stops on my thrifting circuit. You can find all sort of great items for (usually) decent prices. The usually is added to the fact that it is clear in the past couple years they use google lens on certain items, pick the most expensive listing and mark the tags as that. "Expensive" items that they lock behind glass are often broken and junk. They often have near destroyed musical instruments listed for at least three times the actual value of the itemOther than poor pricing this location holds some gems that you just need to dig for.

Stopped in here for the first time recently (December 2023) & can't say enough good things! Very big selection of all kinds of clothing; including men's, ladies, & children's. They also have shoes & housewares, seasonal/decorative items, & so much more! Staff was friendly, helpful & welcoming. Prices were very fair. Most items in good to excellent condition. They were easy to identify & find on all of the racks. Merchandise was also categorized for easier shopping. For example, women's clothing such as dress pants/leggings, sweaters, etc. So it was not at all difficult or time consuming to locate what you're interested in. Chances are you'll find what you're looking for. They even had a section of holiday themed clothing upon entrance & other items throughout the store, such as Christmas cards. They also have self checkout stations that accept cash & card payments. You can bring your own reusable bags, or they have some available for purchase at a low cost. We got a nice, reusable Savers bag for just $1.99! Many designer & store/name brands here too. In just one trip, I found clothing by Old Navy, Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas, Hanes, Justice, American Eagle, Express, Children's Place, Anne Taylor Loft, Calvin Klein & plenty others. Well worth a look if you enjoy thrift shopping! I was definitely impressed & will return.

While it’s fun shopping there, you never know what you will find, the prices have gone up to the point where I can almost buy it new at this price. Nevertheless, I’ll keep going, just not buying as much, has to be a real great deal!

Prices are some of the lowest in the chain, and they still do the weekly color discount (last I checked). Stock tends to fluctuate month to month. However, lack of changing rooms (they require you to purchase to try a thing on, and will give you only store credit on the day you try to return if it doesn’t fit) and a new policy of “private/employee-only” restrooms really brings down the star rating of the store.

3 weeks ago to be exact we were overwhelmed with the outstanding customer service we received from "4" of Savers employees! LuLu - Corey - Zeus and Breau! My husband and I took both cars loaded with books and clothing to donate. I even had bags piled on the front seat with my pocketbook under them. We had 2 gentlemen unloading our cars one especially friendly - helpful and even thanking us for giving! I found out that was Breau. Well to my horror when I got home realized that my pocketbook was gone!! I frantically called the store and with in minutes received "3" calls from Lulu - Corey and Zeus! They were so concerned, really caring, very professional asking all the right questions. They consoled me saying that they would start looking immediately. We got back in the car heading to Savers and not half way there I received a call from Zeus saying they had found it! What a relief!!! We were greeted very warmly, all with big smiles! l can not say how grateful - thankful we are for them! They turned what could have been a nightmare into a little bump in the road for the day!! Thank You!! Thank You! Thank You!

11 dollars or 12 dollars for shirts now? long sleeve blouses? with stains on it??????? This place really thinks thats normal to do… raising prices, this is a thrift store. i can go to walmart and buy brand new clothes with no stains , for the same price… shame on them , some of us want to buy or find shirts that are 5.99 , not $12 ….very dissapointing, the place is smelly and outside is dirty too. idk if i wanna shop at savers anymore. goodwill has been doing so good compared to savers

The donations function is often closed when it is advertised as being open. I recommend that you do not bring donations unless the weather is perfect and also not during the last couple of hours. I have seen them close donations when it is sprinkling and also a couple hours early.

Last night while I was shopping with my family, one of the store workers passed by pushing my 11-year-old daughter. The first time I understood it and I asked my girl to move so she could pass, but the second time The same lady passes by again and pushes my daughter again, having a huge space where she can pass, she decides to go and hurt my daughter, at that moment it was where I decided to say, hey, excuse me, but you went by hitting the girl for the second time, could you be careful? to which said worker put on a tremendous show and began to yell and insult my family reaching the point of reaching and standing in my wife's face trying to intimidate her at that moment was where I decided to face her and tell her to keep her distance from my wife and my daughters that my daughter is a minor that she is pushing and I as a mother have to protect her and that it should not even occur to her to touch my wife because then the problems would escalate more, the worst thing is that the manager being there practically wanted us to shut up and leave the store because according to her we were making a scandal ,i respond to her that I was not going to shut up if someone hurt my daughter and that the only thing I asked the worker was to be careful but well it seems that these employees care little if a child abuse lawsuit is filed
