Went to Lowes Worcester to purchase a fridge, found one we liked the hubby checked the pricing inline and noticed it was $150 less at HD, informed the great salesperson and he confirmed it was apples to apples and they should be able to match pricing. Onto checkout where a CS Rep/Manager? says that they dont match others sales prices only if original price is less, i point out that is ridiculous and nowhere on ther price match guarantee does it say this. and that lowes and HD have this item on sale and that HD has a deeper discount, Manager arrives (if that's what he was) proceeds to spew the same nonsense finally i say cancel the sale. what was once an enjoyable experience shopping at Lowes has devolved as they choose to employ the clearly incompetent in leadership roles and dont have clear cut policies, too bad must be the reason they were dead yesterday and HD was slamming. sent this to there corporate office we will see if they reply

If I could give negative stars I would. This entire company is pathetic. They will make getting every single penny back for a returned item the most difficult process of your life. Take it from me GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE. Absolute crooks with zero customer service skillsEDIT: since this post has gotten so much attention I figured id explain what happened. Long story shortish, bought a stackable washer dryer online that was ready to be delivered in 2 weeks. Notified a week later it will actually take 6, no problem that’s fine. 6 weeks later they get delivered, it’s a non stackable unit. I pull up the product information and it still says stackable. Fine. I start the return process.. they come back out and pick it up. A week later I’m still waiting for them to verify they picked it back up because I should have gotten my refund. I spend multiple hours on the phone with them over the course of a few days trying to figure out what’s taking so long. Every single human being I spoke to had a different answer. At one point I was on hold for 45 min waiting for a supervisor, then someone does pick up and hangs up immediately. I call back yet again and I’m told there is no supervisor on today. Great more time wasted. I eventually am able to get a refund only to find that $500 of that is still missing. I call again. I am told to call the protection plan people. I call them. After speaking with them for an eternity I receive half of my $500 back a week later. I call AGAIN. I’m told someone will get back to me. Nope. 2 days later I call again and I’m told now because it’s been over 30 days (it’s been a week and a half now) I now have to wait 4-6 WEEKS for the rest of my refund. Absolutely INSANE. Like I said crooks. Make sure you check your statements if you return anything to this company. Like I said zero customer service skills. Can’t wait to see if I actually get my money back in this time frame. NEVER AGAIN.

Most if the store seems very well organized and well stocked although some of their product seems to be relatively slow to restock when it runs out. I wish they had a better spray paint supply as well.Employees are all very friendly and helpful. I have had zero negative experience with employees and they have all gone out if their way to help and talk with me, especially the ones working self checkout and the paint department.The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 for me is the lack of employees. There are times where it can be difficult to find anyone that isn't stationed at self checkout.

Lowe's seems to be staying on top of what their inventory. I used to go there and bins would be empty or have the wrong stuff in them, or you look to see if they have something at the store online the website says they have 6, but when you get there they haven't stocked "those" for a year. Different branches......
