We didn't rent here--which makes my review all the more meaningful, I think!--but when we landed at ORH, we realized we had taken the key on the plane with us fro the Hertz rental we'd just returned...to Orlando. We don't live anywhere near either airport (ORH or MCO), and Hertz had already revised our receipt (during the flight!) to charge us $300 for key replacement.
I spoke with Dimitri (the manager on duty), who suggested I reach out to Ed Bresnahan, the owner. Mr. Bresnahan replied to me within one day and graciously agreed to return the key for me to the folks in Orlando. I was expecting pushback--or even a request to pay some sort of shipping or handling fee, as this is a franchise Hertz location (meaning, not a corporate location), so his quick response--and willingness to help--were a pleasant and welcome surprise.

Made a last minute reservation a for a car bc my power steering quit. I got there after hours and desk was closed. With the help of a kind airport employee (who had no doubt been busting her butt all day in the snow storm)was able to get in touch with an employee through the hotline. I am grateful and impressed that despite falling snow and icy roads, he was willing to come back!!! Not often these days that you come across strangers willing to go out of there way to help someone else ?

Worst customer service experience ever. Hertz is terrible overall but this location especially. Guy at the desk is incompetent and rude. Did not know how to process the booking, making me wait for an hour until it was finally figured out by me calling customer service. Told me to leave instead of trying to help. Went outside and ignored customers. The saddest thing is he kept talking about how he'd working on his podcast, like if this you at your main job I'd hate to see you working on your side project.

Worst hertz rental location I have ever dealt with. Booked a car on the hertz app got to the location and I was told my reset could not be found in their system. I should the rep my reservation on the app but but he kept on insisting it was not in their system. Ended up canceling my app reservation and paying more for direct booking at the counter what makes the matters worse is that the rep booked me on Thrifty instead of hertz so I was unable to gain my rewards. Reps are rude and lack customer service skills.

If I could leave a ZERO RATING I WOULD .I Reserved a 7 passenger vehicle. I asked the guy do they accept Debit Cards .he said Yes. He also stated they do A Soft Credit Check .just to make sure I had money on my Debit Card .and I would have NO Problem. Well I go to pick the Vehicle up and the guy ( apparently not the guy I talked to previously) he tells me I can't use Just A Debit Card It Has To Be A Credit Card !! And my Credit had to be at least a 700 !! He also tells me NO ONE WOULD SAY YOU CAN USE A DEBIT CARD , LIKE I'M LYING ....AND ITS NOT A SOFT CREDIT CHECK. So no Rental from them went down the road and found a rental place and got my rental ..Yup so I would of been screwed seeing my Family in Pennsylvania..I told the gut I called Twice and asked All the Questions I needed to make sure this wouldn't happen .so the guy I talked to on the Phone doesn't know his job or they just out and out LIE .The guy that was at the Desk today was just Arrogant!!

When I picked up my rental, I was greeted with a smile by the lady at the counter and everything was ready to go. I was out the door in a matter of minutes and on my way. The car was a brand new Challenger R/T.When I returned the car however, it wasn't as smooth a process. Be aware that there is only one employee working on Sunday morning so the wait time at the counter for return could be a lot longer than normal. I waited for 20 minutes before the employee arrived, and there were two customers behind me waiting as well. However once he did arrive, he was very friendly and processed my return quickly.I would have given a 5 star review had this location's hours been better (closed Saturday, only open Sunday morning) and at least a 2nd employee to avoid an empty counter while people wait and wonder if someone is even going to show up.

Please pay attention to the fact that this location closes at 4:00 PM. My flight landed at 4:20 PM. When I walked up there was a note on the desk that said “We are closedâ€. Myself and 10 other passengers were left without transportation. So we had to take all that was available from a rival renter at a price tag of $193 a day. Beware if you plan on landing anytime after 4:00 PM!!!!!

If I can do 0 stars I would Hertz is awful here I will never use Hertz rental car from here... I had an issue with my rental car that I picked up from another location that was about an hour and half away... I called the 800 number and they told me to go to this location no one is answering but they see cars on their Lot ... also I tried to call two times .... no answer ... when we arrived no one was there and one of the other car companies had to text her down... Stacey said no one called and that no one told me you were coming we only have one car on the lot... the one car they had had the check engine light come on and service light came on... now I have a car making noises and you want me to exchange for that... no thank you... I asked about another car that was next to it n she said I don't have anything I said there is a ford in a hertz spot she said no that's the other companies they take my spots ... well hertz maybe you need to tell the other companies park else where for your cars... then She started to argue with us like it's our fault... she then got on the phone with her manager and said it did rain it probably is that reason that the tires are grinding but they wanna speak with you... so rude And they made me feel so u comfortable We walked out and said I'm over this no point to waste more of my day and time...

The team at Hertz Worcester Airport always takes great care of me. Their fleet of cars has improved over the years and they always seem to have cars available.

Worst rental company I've ever dealt with and I've dealt with a lot . The people who run this place are real jerks . Save yourself the hassle and try any place but Hertz
