I have not have the best experience with Fed Ex in the past but today was completely different. I have always had a great relationship with my driver Onyx who is probably taken on a higher role at this point or at least should be given a promotion. I called last night to make sure my package would be delivered correctly as their was a delivery exception. Promptly this morning Jimmy called me and took great care of me and made sure everything was delivered correctly. He communicated with me and everyone else perfectly. I really appreciate this. If I could give this review 0 starts, I would. I set up Delivery Manager for a package requiring adult signature (laptop) to be dropped at one of their FedEx Depot locations (Shaws), since I would not be home when it was supposed to arrive. I received the text notification that it was at the drop location, and when I arrived to pick it up, I was told that the driver would not leave the package because no one at the drop location would sign for it (I'm assuming the driver wanted my signature, since the "deliver to" and "valid ID" addresses have to match). So I'm wondering 1) if FedEx is that incompetent that they have have a drop location, with no process in place to actually drop off the package 2) why the driver checked it in as being at that location when he did not leave it there. When I called customer support, they said that the pkg would be at their main FedEx location for pick up and I confirmed with the rep. the hours of operation for Sunday, since I would need to cut my vacation short and come back to pick it up before Monday. I was told they were open until 7pm. THANK GOD I confirmed before driving all the way to that location because it is CLOSED on Sunday! So I lost a day of vacation AND did not get the laptop in time for my business meeting on Monday.Complete incompetence in every instance of customer interaction.

Every single time they are supposed to make a delivery to my home (a residential address) they try to deliver it to the school next door (a business address) instead. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. When the school is closed (like during summer vacation, duh!) they call it a "delivery exception" and I have to call them to try to get my package redelivered to the ACTUAL address. Usually end up having to waste time and money driving to the center to pick up the package after multiple failed attempt on their part. Looking at the other reviews on this page, I find that I'm not alone. How they stay in business I'll never know.

wish I could give no star's FedEx is terrible. Missed a deadline because of multiple delays and customer service is a complete joke. No resolutions and no service. I can honestly say I hate this company!

Pathetic they haven't a clue about customer service AND they were delivering for Lowes the unbelievable thing is they claim they couldn't find our house THEY DELIVER HERE 2 TIMES a week minimum they ignore emails phone calls the one star is only because Yelp requires a star

Once again, customer service is not helpful. Never even attempted to deliver and THEY CHANGED my address! Fixed it after my my correcting them. And AGAIN, they can't find it. You never know who you are talking to and they just keep repeating the same thing. "I completely understand how frustrating this must be, Genevieve. We realize how important your shipment is to you and we will do our best to prevent this from happening and complete the delivery of your shipment as soon as possible. You can continue to monitor your package on fedex.com and sign up for alerts through the FedEx delivery manager. I can also sign you up to receive email notifications. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or frustration."Emails and notifications are not helpful when it keeps saying that they can't find my address. Which everyone else seems to be find without issue. This is the 4th time just this year (we use UPS or USPS when we get to choose) that they have done this. Incompetent fools with zero customer service. I get the same script as above. Every. Single. Time.

This place is HORRIBLE. Read other reviews and it seems they don't even try to deliver packages. I was waiting for my package for hours, door open everything. Then get a notification they tried to deliver it, and they did not. I would've seen them. Don't get it. Either the driver is out drinking beers on the clock or what. Can't believe it.
