My only complaint is you can book rentals online but when you arrive they are overbooked and no rentals are available. That being said, the local staff has been great at finding a way to fix the situation.”

“Olsi Auto made a good story out of what could have been a nightmare. I drove to Worcester from NY to pick up my daughter, and as soon as I pulled off the highway, my car started smoking and screeching and it stalled. My daughter called Olsi and within minutes they called me. They arranged for a tow truck, and sent someone down to make sure I was ok and not too stressed. When the tow truck couldn't give me a lift to the mechanic, they did. And then they repaired my clutch. They did a good job with the clutch, but the service they provided went above and beyond. Thank you, Olsi Auto, for making a bad situation bearable!!”

“Excellent service. I came here a few months ago after getting into a car accident and they did an amazing job fixing my car. Yesterday, when I got a flat tire, I called Canterbury Automotive Inc. and Jimmy helped me immensely. I was able to drive over as they were closing and he put my spare tire on for me and was super kind and professional. He also connected me with a great tire store and provided expertise on how to best move forward. I really appreciate Canterbury Automotive and Jimmy for their work and dedication to their customers and I highly recommend coming here if you are experiencing car troubles.”

Unfortunately Kelvin was off today but i was Fortunate enough to have my own great customer service experience with a different Coworker name Marisela. After explaining to her my situation and what I have been dealing with In the Webster location for the past 4 days with a big beautiful smile on her face and a sincere apology, she proceeded fixing the issue. there is nothing in this world that I appreciate more then a sincere apology coming from a person that has done nothing wrong but understood that, so out of respect for me , her place of work and on behalf of her coworker she was able to do that and more. With a very short time notice she was able to help me with my issue my selection and delivery she was truly awesome. How funny one person can make the difference . This is a person that truly enjoys her career and sometimes people take that for granted specially costumers and don’t give them enough credit . So from the bottom of my heart and from my family to you ,Thanks you for your great work and dedication to your customers Andrea Lara-fernandez definitely fulfilled every expectation turning a horrible experience to a great one in matters of minutes one that would not go unnoticed happy holidays”

I booked a rental a day before Memorial weekend due to my car starting making weird noises and I was traveling 2 hours + far from Worcester and I didn't want to take no risks. I explained my concerns and even though they didn't have vehicles available at the moment, they took my info in case they found anything. Few hours after they were able to accommodate me, which I appreciate. Thanks to Mr.Devante for explaining everything and recommending the suitable car for me and family.

“In a trip filled with a delayed flight into Worcester, that caused us to arrive after 6pm and cancelled flight home, having to extend my trip and hotel stays and more poor customer service calls and interactions than I care to get into - there was only 1 person on my entire trip who showed any real compassion, understanding, and concern and that was Jason from Avis/Budget at the Worcester,.
I have worked in the customer service industry for years and I will say that not only did Jason handle a flood of customers at his counter with speed and efficiency, he also still maintained his professionalism, courtesy and was an absolute ambassador for the location and the Avis/Budget brand. I really can not say enough good things about his positive attitude and work ethic, and I wish there were thousands more people, not just employees, but people like Jason in this world.”

375 Airport Dr, Worcester“We didn't rent here--which makes my review all the more meaningful, I think!--but when we landed at ORH, we realized we had taken the key on the plane with us fro the Hertz rental we'd just returned...to Orlando. We don't live anywhere near either airport (ORH or MCO), and Hertz had already revised our receipt (during the flight!) to charge us $300 for key replacement.
I spoke with Dimitri (the manager on duty), who suggested I reach out to Ed Bresnahan, the owner. Mr. Bresnahan replied to me within one day and graciously agreed to return the key for me to the folks in Orlando. I was expecting pushback--or even a request to pay some sort of shipping or handling fee, as this is a franchise Hertz location (meaning, not a corporate location), so his quick response--and willingness to help--were a pleasant and welcome surprise.”

96 Green St, Worcester“I first signed up for a Zipcar membership in Madison, WI, and generally had very positive experiences there. When I moved to Boston and had a look at all these reviews I was kind of dreading the occasions when I would really *need* to rent one. I just figured, well, in a major city things are bound to be more chaotic. But I've rented 3x now with them and I was very happy with all of my experiences. I did have to contact customer service for each rental to deal with some issues (e.g., locked gate for returning the car, previous renter very late), but I got through very quickly to someone, and each of the people I spoke with was super helpful and very friendly. *However*. . . it's important to go into this with sensible expectations and to be prepared to change things up if needed. For my most recent rental, the person who had the car before me was stuck in traffic and eventually we had to switch to another car--not the company's fault, that just happens. For my trouble, I was offered a significant discount, which I appreciated, mostly because it allowed me to take care of a lot more errands by having the car for longer. In terms of renting strategically, you can do the following: (1) try to rent a vehicle that's in a less busy neighborhood, less usage on the car; (2) check out the vehicle in person beforehand to see if it's pretty beat up and more likely to present problems--also to figure out where the car is parked, which is not always easy to figure out; (3) try to choose a vehicle that does not have a lot of rental time before or after to avoid being delayed and to allow you to extend time if needed. To be honest, if I had someplace important to be (wedding, business meeting), I would either not rent a Zipcar, or have a back-up plan. Customer service: it's quite possible you may end up speaking with someone who is not in the U.S., not shocking that they're outsourcing. But the people I spoke with had perfectly good English, and I found them very pleasant. You would think from reading this whole string of reviews that literally everyone who rents a Zipcar has some kind of nightmarish experience. I'm going to guess that anyone who has a terrible experience is much more likely to post here?”
