If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My friend and I stopped by to get a few drinks to enjoy with our meal at Westside BBQ. I got to the counter and the man asked for my ID, which I gave. He accused me of using a fake ID because I had some makeup on and a different hairstyle than the one I had in my picture. He claimed I was a college student trying to use “my sister’s ID”. As a black woman, who changes her hair regularly, I found this highly offensive and disrespectful. I’m sure many black woman can relate. This was an experience I’ll never forget. My suggestion: get a proper ID scanner to ACTUALLY detect fake IDs instead of your eyes.

What a horrible experience. Big Bob’s has little consideration for its patrons. After my friend and I got in a man was very much watching our every move even though we were the only ones in the store. Even worse, when my friend and I got to the register & she showed him her ID he kept questioning whether it was her sister & said “born in ‘99, you look like a college kid” - like we were claiming to be 40??? Then I said “not too much” as a reply to his sneakiness - he just copied what I said to go even harder on questioning my friend. So disrespectful

Unreliable, inconsistent. Randomly changes prices of unmarked items and never open until closing hours. Owner seems confused as to how to effectively run a business, and claims "he isn't the only one to perform such activities ". Reality : yes he is.

The guy at the register charged me $17 for a 12 pack of heineken, never seen such a high price. Try to avoid this place, overpriced.

Bought a Bota Box of wine and some smokes. Got to talking to Kevin and he got all animated about his usual Trump s**** Forgot my change. Called him on it today, told him to check the video or if he was over on his register the night before, and he refused. Whatever, it's only 10 bucks, but the fact I'm a regular customer and he pooh-pooh'ed the idea and wouldn't check, ticks me off. I'll go to Mass Liquors from now on.
