Annie's Book Stop of Worcester is the only general-reading independent book store in Worcester. We offer many different genres of books including Science Fiction, Romance, Horror, Suspense, Adventure, Biography, Literature, etc., and two full rooms dedicated to children's books. Most of our pre-read titles are discounted at least 50% off the original retail price, with sales on select used books for $1.00 or less. New books are discounted at least 20% off cover price on titles obtained from publishers and wholesalers. Used hardcovers are $2.99 to $3.99 each. We also have many events with local and national artists, authors and entertainers. We try to have one or two events every week, if possible, many of them for children.
