Do not believe the hours. Pharmacy decided to permanently change their hours, and thought that taping a sign in the store was sufficient notice to the public. Incredibly selfish.

Like other people have posted, Leslie in pharmacy needs a new career. My elderly mother was discharged Beth Israel ICU and is in extreme pain. Yes controlled substances are tricky but Leslie was so incredibly rude to my mother saying that it wasn't a doctor who sent the prescription and all this BS about DEA numbers. How would a regularly person know anything about that? My mother was sobbing and hung up. I called back and Leslie screamed at me about my mother hanging up. Pretty sure prescribers from one of the best hospitals in the world some what know what they are doing but mistakes happen. This lady needs a new job or at least some real customer service training. How embarrassing to have her name mentioned on here numerous times... guess they really are short staffed?

There is a reason this place has 2.7 stars. I booked my updated COVID and flu vaccine here, and insurance is required. When I tried to explain that the state of MA threw me into an insurance blind spot earlier this year, I tried to leave out the details of the mess they made, cause I know people and to be frank they don't have the patience and hate what in their eyes is fluff. When I was pressured further by the pharmacist as to whether or not I had insurance, I did explain the details as to how the state of MA decised on the spur of the moment what plan I should have for me, after I had already signed up for one, only to never receive the insurance card for their chosen plan and to still received the card for the one I signed up for. The pharmacist lost her patience mid trying to say this as concisely as is possible, demanded a black and white answer, held something I did not do to myself against me, doubled down on negative stereotypes and reinforced the ingrained notion that I am not conforming to a simple expectation, through no fault of my own, took the complications the state has made out on me, profiled me as some sort of esoteric person, amd refused to talk to me further, all for a situation I did not create and said I was not doing anything to answer her question. She was expecting me to meet a criteria with a definitive answer and refused to listen or understand why I could not do that or hear out that I was doing the best I could with what what presented to me including her bad attitude, and she cut me off before I even got that out, sharply retaliating with how I was not trying to answer her question and I was just going off on tangents with unnecessary details as if I was trying to waste her time with an admittedly complicated situation. She refused to aconolwedged I was being as concise as I could for what is a very compicated situation and made that my fault and doubled down on the very American cultural phenomenon of complete intolerance for anything that is not immeditely convenient or simple: well it was simple, I had an insurance plan I signed up for and the state inteferred. Now its not clear what I have even though I am obviously paying for it, if it is still in the system. I will never go back to this Walgreens and I would not recommend you go to them, they will not help you even if you have insurance and have signed up for it, and any deliberate chaos caused by that state insurance system to throw you into a crack, they blow back as somehow your fault. I even arrived for my appointment and they still turned me away after discovering I do have insurance in the system. They could not tolerate that I could not provide them the answer that is expected because of how the state handled my insurance application and they took it out in me and got mad at me for that it was not a simple situation, which I did mention right away. This place SUCKS in ways that defy words and there is a reason it lost its contract with the state of MA. It was beyond inappropriate what happened yesterday and I hope it goes out of business. It will with that pharmacist making the decisions.

Their pharmacy staff picks up the phone then hangs up on you immediately. Don’t bother trying to call the pharmacy.

If you don't mind dying, use this Walgreens. But if you want to live, go anyplace else for your prescriptions.I was having an asthma attack Friday. Went to Massachusetts General Brigham Urgent Care promptly at 9:00 am. Due to the risk of dying from an asthma attack, I was seen immediately at 9:00 and by 9:30 a prescription for a different asthma inhaler and a device to use with the inhaler called a "spacer" were on file at this Walgreens. It took this Walgreens SEVEN AND ONE-HALF hours to fill the inhaler prescription. The spacer was "out of stock." (I bought one on Amazon and received it the next day).I went to this Walgreens several times Friday to "wait." At CVS, an in-store wait puts you at the head of the line in getting your script filled. The wait at CVS is rarely more than 15 minutes and usually around 10 minutes. Not so with Walgreens. They just lie to you, repeatedly, about the length and timing of the wait period. First, I went directly to Walgreens from Urgent Care, as instructed by the medical staff there, who told me this is serious and I need to get on the new steroid inhaler ASAP. When I got to Walgreens, all they would tell me was that it was "in process" and they couldn't tell me how long it would take. I then sat in my car for an hour in the parking lot before going back inside. Again, all they would tell me is that it was "in process." When I explained that I was having an asthma attack and needed the inhaler immediately, they basically told me they didn't care because they had to "follow their policies." I then asked if their policies include watching a customer die in front of the pharmacy window from an asthma attack, they told me this was not their problem, that they had to follow their policies.I then call MGB Urgent Care and they called Walgreens to explain to them that asthma attacks REQUIRE immediate medical attention in the form of steroids. Walgreens blew them off. So, still sitting in the parking lot, I went back inside to see if the "wait" was over. No, it was not. But for the first time I was given an ETA of 30 minutes. Back to the car to wait. I kept waiting in my car and not in the pharmacy area inside the store out of respect for the other customers. I was coughing violently with every breath and did not want to freak them out thinking I had Covid. After 30 minutes, I went back inside the store and was told I could not get my inhaler for another 45 minutes because the pharmacist was now on lunch break. This really pissed me off and I decided to go full bore passive aggressive on them. I drove home, put my service dog (he detects and dissipates anger and aggression from PTSD) in his bright orange vest that has patches on the sides saying "Psychiatric Service Animal", drove back to Walgreens, and then stood at the reading glasses display right next to the pharmacy waiting line. There, I proceeded to cough violently and loudly with every breath, without a mask on, for the express purpose of freaking out other customers to enlist them to tell the pharmacy staff to fill my prescription to get this coughing crazy person out of there. Lo and behold, after less than 10 minutes of this, my inhaler was ready for me to buy - 7 and 1/2 hours after it was called in.This morning I have been transferring my prescriptions from Walgreens back to CVS, where the staff can be annoying but they do get you your scripts filled in a medically appropriate amount of time.IN CONCLUSION, IF YOU LIKE LIVING, DON'T USE THIS PHARMACY!!!!!

This is the worst walgreens we have been to. The manager Rosanna is rude and not helpful. I ordered photo prints for same day and they could not find my order and when they did, it had not been started. This after 2 days. Go somewhere else if you can. The customer service is just awful.

I went to return a product I bought hours before and had my receipt and unopened product. The manager sue gave me such a hard time and wrote down my driver’s license and threatened me saying “we’ll see what I do with you” and never did my return. The cashier Mary was so nice and asking sue to help her but she refused and would walk away.. she was so rude and unprofessional and kicked me out of the store without doing my return

This pharmacy is a circus, leslie and lori once again behind the counter giving evil eyes and making snyde comments under their breath while whispering to each other like teen girls. These employees have NO consequences for all the mistakes they make and talk down to customers, there is nobody overseeing these animals who cant get a prescription filled properly and refuse to apologize, instead they yell, laugh and blame the doctor and Roxanne the "store manager" has NO clue what to do when a complaint is made she just apologizes repeadedly. These yelp reviews say it all, why hasnt anyone at corporate handled this nonsense, my elderly aunt is now afraid to go back in this location because of all the aggression from these employees, I told her if it happens again a police complaint will be made against these women who clearly were the unpopular girls in highschool and feel the need to bully customers!
