I was happy got upgraded for five star status however they said it 5 or 6 dollars to add Sirius xm satellite radio however I thought for a month the way they said and then found out it was that a day and being charged hundreds for the month rental and can't change when budget only charges 1 a day and if went to Sirius it free six months then only 9.99 ig I don't get refunded the money I'll be disputing wit cc and filing complaint bbb and attorney general cause I tried to cancel same day and they won't let me I was told id get refunded when it over with so we will c I bet they won't happen I want owner or corporate to call me or I'll be contacting them not toention lete book a new reservation day I was gonna return for noon however they closed then and Sunday they closed so instead of late fee and two extra days they changed my contract and went from 685 to 1385 I'll contact corporate and bbb and attorney general and ftc and news and other companies and also layers and file.dospute wit cc

The person working was extremely rude. I tried calling for 3 days and was told the phones are down. I try doing it online and was shown an error code and told to call the location. I showed up in person and was being helped when someone else came in saying they are in a hurry so that had the person helping me stop and start working with them while I am also in as much of a hurry.

This is by far the worst car rental agency that I have ever used. Can’t get a hold of anyone at this location customer service can’t help me with what I need I’m getting charged daily at a ridiculous rate because I can’t speak to anyone. I strongly do not recommend hertz. Go to enterprise they have better rates and great customer service and they answer the phone when someone calls. The worst part is that they have my cell phone number but keep calling my wife’s cell looking for me. I will never walk into another hertz again.

Had a great experience picking up a rental while my car is in the shop. Had a short wait, and the staff was super friendly. The EV I got was nearly fully charged and clean. I walked in and left with a car in about 20 minutes. Not bad at all. Happy with my experience.

Did a last minute booking online and got a good deal, almost didn’t book because the reviews were not great but a woman named Stacy was super sweet on the phone so I decided to give it a chance. She was also the one to help at pick up. Stacy was so nice and literally running around to help every customer. I would rent from them again. Thanks!

This location in Woburn is absolutely terrible! Worst location I’ve ever been to and I rent from hertz almost 3 times a month for work and am presidents circle yet every time I come to this location the staff is unorganized, I end up waiting over an hour just to pick up a pre-reserved car and it’s always the worst quality (stinky, dirty or run down)! They are always making up random restrictions or rules that I have never heard of as a regular renter to make the process more difficult as well! Management really needs to get involved or just shut this place down because it’s honestly the worst most tedious experience every time for this location and quality doesn’t even deliver!!! Please give me managements number because I’m tired of this and unfortunately it’s the closest location to me!

I recently had the displeasure of dealing with Hertz Car Rental in Woburn, Massachusetts. As a customer who values transparency, reliability, and fair treatment, I feel compelled to share my experience with Hertz.I had booked a rental car with Hertz almost two months in advance, as I was aware that traveling to New England during the fall season could present challenges in securing a rental vehicle. I pre-paid almost $1,000 in advance for my reservation, assuming that this would ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience. How wrong I was.Less than 24 hours before my scheduled pick-up (and an hour before getting on my flight), I was informed that the vehicle I had reserved was no longer available. The reason? The previous renter had decided to extend their rental. This abrupt and last-minute cancellation of my reservation left me and my family in an incredibly inconvenient situation, with no transportation and a meticulously planned trip thrown into disarray.To make matters worse, after a frustrating six days of our trip without a rental car, we received word that the vehicle was finally available. However, the supposed "courtesy" extended by Hertz was to charge me an additional 120% of the original cost ($1,200) to rent the original vehicle for the remaining days of our trip. Let me emphasize that the timing and magnitude of this price increase, especially considering the unavailability of rental cars elsewhere in the peak travel season, is nothing short of exorbitant and unjust.What makes this situation even more infuriating is the fact that when we sought to discuss this matter with a manager and request a fair resolution, Hertz assured us that the manager would call us back within a day. To our dismay, that call never materialized.It is indeed disheartening to witness a company that I have been a loyal customer to for years, who has historically been known to have a strong brand and customer support, to exhibit such a lack of commitment to its customers. The abrupt cancellation and subsequent financial burden not only disrupted our travel plans but also put our family through undue stress and financial strain.Hertz should uphold their reputation by providing fair and consistent treatment to customers, especially those who have been loyal patrons. This recent experience not only fell far short of these expectations but also demonstrated a disregard for customer satisfaction and convenience.My intention in posting this review is not to vent frustration but to encourage Hertz to take responsibility and make amends. I trust that the company will consider my experience as an opportunity to rectify the issues I encountered and restore the confidence and trust of customers like me.

Horrible customer service. When we picked up the car, it had an awful perfume scent. Clearly someone had smoked in the car and the staff tried to mask it by placing these horrible diffusers in the air vents. The perfume gave my husband and I migraines. When we called to look for solutions, the staff (when they finally answered the phone and hung up on us once) said there was nothing they could do. No solutions, no support. The Hertz main line was no help since there was no option to speak to anyone. We had to drive through rainy Boston rush hour traffic with the windows down blasting the hot air in the the hopes of burning off the awful scent. Then we purchased cleaning supplies and scrubbed down the vents. It finally lifted enough where we could tolerate it... while still smelling faint cigarette smoke. We will never use Hertz again.

One of the worst experience. I had never faced in my life. I have book a vehicle at 8 AM but they have given me at 9.30AM . There are no ppl in front of me. I have sitted over there my time was wasted a lot.
