This store strives to fail. Their pricing is never right, there's no one to talk to and they are miserable and unhelpful. Today, I go in for a common antibiotic which they're out of stock abd do not offer to help me find it. Here I am, sick, standing on this line for 20 minutes to be told they're out of stock. This huge company can't figure out how to notify someone that they're out of stock of penicillin??

Pharmacy cashiers are nice. 99% of what happens behind them is a nightmare. I was stunned Yelp shows 2 stars for this store - that's too high. Pharmacists act like they don't care. It's obvious there's no competition nearby. Seek alternatives if you can.

I was taken aback this evening after picking up a prescription at the Woodside CVS pharmacy. I was barely greeted by a young girl behind the counter with zero customer service skills. Normally I wouldn’t care but her absolute lack of knowledge and level of disregard for me and the elderly woman behind me was baffling..My prescription had been filled with an error and I had to ask the individual “helping me” to check on the matter for me and she basically stonewalled me and simply read from the label I was already holding..This girl is not a pharmacy but is a regular front end employee who had obvious been placed back there to help…This was the breaking point for me as she’s already proven to be unhelpful in her her normal role as I’ve witnessed her driver customers out of the store first hand…She’s young, possibly high school age, with long dark hair…avoid her if possible… unfortunately many retail establishments are so hard up for staff that they’re not screening anyone who applies

I believe this is the third or 4th time I’ve been to the CVS on WoodBridge Street in Winthrop,Ma.Truthfully, I have to say that this store put a great team together!This is the first time I’ve been to a CVS where the coupons and discounts were all applied ….and….. applied correctly, very important to a senior citizen, especially when paying $10 for a Carepass each month !( I don’t think there should be a chargefor the Carepass….. it is sort of likecharging for parking at a Casino).I was impressed that the employees, including the manager were all professional and helpful.However, I was most impressed by a student named Julian. He would be an asset to any store location, or hospital when he gets his pharmacy degree. Julian is the role model of customer service… knowledgeable, friendly, smiling, efficient and helpful. Personality plus ….& I’m not exaggerating.I have taken the time to write this review because I’ve been very disappointed in other CVS locations in the last three or four years and have looked for alternatives frequently.However, I will come back to this CVS location given the great impression that they have made on me thus far.Marie

They have rude employees NF pharmacy employees are just as bad ???????? Walgreens has so much better what a mistake I did leaving Walgreens I am going back with a big smile on my face you should really get your s*** together

Just went into Walgreens expecting to pay full price for our prescriptions because CVS here in Winthrop told us our insurance doesn't cover our meds. Turns out that CVS wasn't running our insurance right. It was coating us hundreds every month. For months. Absolutely disgusting. Costing people with disabilities and medical conditions money they don't need to spend simply because your employees either weren't trained right or didn't care to do their jobs properly.

I went to CVS pharmacy in Winthrop MA with one of my very good friends who is a black women. While browsing the makeup aisle she was racially profiled and accused of "contaminating" the makeup when she was simply looking at the foundation bottles. The staff then continued to follow her around the store while she was looking through the makeup products. I was surprised and disgusted witnessing this happen. The staff kept on persisting if she need any help when she had stated that she was simply fine and no help was needed. We both felt very uncomfortable and put all the things we planned to purchase back. We left shocked and embarrassed that my friend was targeted because of her race as I was never approached. As a loyal customer of CVS I will no longer be shopping there.

The store is incredibly warm to borderline hot. I do not feel good about buying food here because of this. The staff is generally friendly and probably not paid enough. My main problem with this store is the trash in the parking lot that has become an issue for all of the homes located near this location. For the past 3 years I have watched the trash problem at CVS become a major concern. It started after the prior manager left. The former manager would have the parking lot cleared twice a week of all liter and trash, as well as a trash barrel by the back entrance. Once he left the trash barrel was taken away and no company came in to clean the debris and trash. I have complained to CVS and one time they sent someone in to clean up the trash. My other attempts have been ignored. Why can't CVS pick up their trash and add a trash barrel to their rear entrance? The current situation is disgusting.

This is hands down the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. The staff doesn’t communicate and frankly it seems like they all hate each other. The techs are so ill informed they struggle to explain things to customers. They take forever to answer the phone. The text/call notifications are delayed. I have been to many pharmacies and this one takes the longest by far to fill a prescription. One tech will tell you something and another will say something totally different.One tech, Jackie, is not the friendliest but she is the only one there who knows what she’s doing. I also wouldn’t be friendly if I was the only competent person at my job.My biggest issue is that The pharmacists are avoidant. Other pharmacies, a pharmacist is always willing to help at the counter and speak with customers. But these ones avoid it like the plague. This is the only pharmacy I’ve ever been to that doesn’t ask “do you have any questions for the pharmacist”. And if you do, the tech just plays messenger. Their miserable teamwork trickles over into the customer service is what it seems like.

When you call no matter what time of year, it is 40 plus minutes on the phone. The staff is very angry and they do not give customers the appropriate attention they need. They avoid customer interaction consistently. I feel as if they are falling apart. A temporary close and restructuring would suffice. New blood is needed.
