“They're very professional and caring, as well as affordable. The only drawback I find is they don't seem to keep computer records. They warn you that if you lose your receipt they can't replace it.”

Also, he had a stomach bug this week and went to urgent care, but CVH called and checked on him and gave me great advice - I was so thankful for the additional support! Could not recommend more!”
“I’m a brand new cat mom, I was worried about sneezing and just in general got her from a shelter wasn’t sure if everything they said was true or not so we went for our first visit. Dakota and Dr. Sam were so great! They were patient and kind. “Has the best customer service I've ever experienced with a vet. My cat was recently diagnosed with stage 2 chronic kidney disease. They have been beyond helpful in answering all my questions, telling me which food to switch him to and what care he will need. They turned my panic about this diagnoses to a calm. Really happy I decided to take my cats to this vet. 100% recommend them.”
“One of my cats is super aggressive and gets turned away at vets but the vets here did a great job at handling her with care and made us feel supported. They were able to give her vaccines and bloodwork while allowing me to distract her.”

“My cat Buddy had some scary experiences at local area vets where they actually harmed him and he developed GI issues due to the stress of their insensitive handling, and he became terrified of vet visits. Luckily, I've discovered BetterVet mobile vets and they are awesome. Our current vet is Dr. Peter Gollub and he is wonderful! In addition to being a very smart & skilled vet, he's kind, patient, and understanding of my cat's nervousness. He and the staff he arrives with always take their time talking with us and going over any and all concerns, and he's very gentle and "calming" with Buddy. He's the only vet who was able to get Buddy to approach him to eat treats from his hand. Also, the online service is quick and easy to use, and I always get a response from them immediately when I use the online chat feature. Highly recommended!”
“Doctor Binder is truly amazing! Her compassion and kindness for her patients goes beyond words I could explain. She talks to them as if they were her own. She is very honest and will not do unnecessary testing without discussing all pros and cons first. I travel over 30 minutes to bring my cats and dog to her. The staff in the office are so nice and overall the most perfect vet office in my opinion. The one or two times I urgently had to bring my cat in and Dr Binder wasn’t there, the other vet in the office was just as kind. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.”
“My dog is terrified of the vet and everyone at Central Animal Hospital is so patient, kind, and accommodating for us in order to make the visit go as smoothly as possible. I highly recommend them to all, but especially if your pet usually has a difficult time with the vet.”
“We have a twelve week old pup and our introductory visit to this veterinary practice was terrific. The front desk staff is welcoming and friendly (we met Gabby), and our vet tech Grace was super skillful, caring and efficient. Dr McCullough got right down on the floor and our pup sat in her lap for the exam, shot etc...what a great experience! She took her time with us and was informative and very kind. “My dog gets extremely anxious with vet appointments. He needs lots of calming meds and a muzzle. The radiologist that took him in for his ultrasound was fantastic! We were unsure our dog would be able to do it given his anxiety but she was able to get it done and he happily came back out to us with her saying he did great. She clearly knew how to meet his needs and was very understanding! Thank you!”
“We love City Cats! We've gone there for a few years now, and the staff has always been kind and helpful. We actually moved to the South Shore but still keep our appointments with City Cats, because they're that good. Dr. Palopoli and the other staff are so caring and I've always found the whole practice transparent in terms of pricing and test options. I've never felt 'taken advantage of' like I have in the past at other practices. Highly recommend :)”

“Craig Cox and his staff are beyond awesome! Watching him do an exam on your dog is so reassuring! He feels every inch for lumps bumps etc. He rotates their legs paws etc checking for limitation or pain. Orders age appropriate labs and is not an alarmist but discusses approaches with you. When it was time for us to say goodbye to our 4 th fur baby he was very supportive, accommodating and kind. I love that my dogs always saw the same vet who knew them well.we will Always be grateful to him and the BEST vet assistant ever Maria”
“NEVER have I EVER seen a vet being so invested, so thorough, so caring about my dog. I am in awe..I came here for a second opinion for my dogs health issue, before simply accepting what my original vet said, and man am I glad I did. Dr Levine went above & beyond to make sure that he had researched ALL options before letting my dog undergo surgery, and guess what? He doe not necessarily need surgery - Dr Levine had alternatives, very well thought out alternatives that he carefully discussed eith me, and I just could not be happier! Thank you!!”
“Pinto is a very sweet dog with very high anxiety around veterinary treatment, specifically onset during the COVID pandemic. Back Bay Veterinary Clinic -- and Dr. Graham in particular -- has been SO wonderful in working with us to figure out the best way to make sure he is calm and comfortable so that he can get the care he needs! I recommend Back Bay Vet to ALL of my friends with pets, but especially anyone with a ~* special *~ dog like Pinto.”

“I moved to Boston in June 2023 and was referred to South Bay by our dog walker. From the beginning we have found the team and veterinarians to be compassionate, responsive and skilled on their care of our two dogs. Recently our 12 year old retriever mix has had health issues and I’m sad to say that yesterday we had to make the difficult decision to euthanize her. Dr Baker was so incredibly kind and patiently talked us through options, gave us privacy to make the decision, and allowed us to gather the family to be with our beloved dog as she crossed the rainbow bridge. I am grateful to have had this support during this sad time and going forward to care for our other dog.”

“Had a routine checkup for my dog, where he also got some shots. The office and exam rooms were both very clean. The vet and vet tech were so kind and caring of my pup, he was in great hands the whole time. They also provided me with useful information about heartworm and flea/tick medication that I asked for as well. Very good experience, would recommend!”

“Dr Hanson and her amazing team cared for my dog for the last 15 years including many tough times. When he was attacked in the woods years ago Dr Hanson saved his life (fixing what an emergency vet did wrong). she treated seizures and did dental surgery and always cared for him with love. She is a very special Vet, your pets will be lucky to have her watching over them. Thank you Dr Hanson !”

I am very appreciative that Lexington-Bedford Veterinary Hospital was able to examine and treat her that same day, and she seems fine! “We were very happy with Dr. Chelsea. She had obviously spent time reviewing our questionnaire and listened to our concerns attentively. She thoroughly answered all our questions and explained the reasons behind her recommendations clearly. Everyone was great! The woman who checked us in was very accommodating. Slider seemed to have a rude fascination with Rita (I hope I'm remembering her name correctly), yet she was nonplussed and handled it well. As I mentioned, Dr. Chelsea was fabulous. And two other staff members even pitched in at the end to corral Slider when he attempted a jail break. Overall, the vibe was very calm and welcoming.”
