My husband and I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience at TLE Wilmington. Our son absolutely loves going to school; from the management to the teachers at drop off/pick up it's clear that they work as a team and really make you feel like you've been a part of their family for forever. His direct classroom teachers, Miss Dana and Miss Kerri are amazing and the sweetest--he smiles so big when he sees them.Miss Dana was a tremendous help with the transition to being in school and has had great suggestions on how to help him acclimate to this newer routine. Miss Kerri has been wonderful with communication at the end of the day with how his day went. Both teachers go above and beyond to make sure my son is not only being cared for but is having fun throughout the day. They do utilize an in-house app which is awesome - we get live updates on activities and picture to accompany them! It's such a great tool to have and we love getting updates while at work. It honestly is such a great place and wouldn't hesitate to suggest it to anyone!

My experience at the Wilmington learning experience is outstanding. The school director Nichole is a breath of fresh air. My granddaughter is extremely happy and never complains she had a bad day. She respects and admires all her teachers. The school is very clean and everyone is always nice and friendly. A++ in my book.

"I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the exceptional care provided at The learning experience . From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated to creating a nurturing environment for children. Every day, my child comes home excited to share the fun activities they participated in and the new friends they made. The facility is clean, safe, and filled with age-appropriate toys and learning materials. The daily schedule is thoughtfully designed to balance playtime, educational activities, and rest. I am impressed by the variety of activities offered, including arts and crafts, music, outdoor play, and more.Communication with the staff is excellent. They provide regular updates on my child's progress, including milestones achieved and areas of focus. I feel confident that my child is receiving the individual attention and support they need to thrive.I highly recommend The learning Experience with the wonderful Nicole as a director to any parent seeking a nurturing and stimulating environment for their child. The love and care provided by the staff is truly exceptional, and I am grateful to have found such an amazing place for my child's early development."

Starting my daughter at TLE Wilmington, was a no brainer for me and my family. Both my daughter and myself immediately fell in love with the staff and everything they have to offer. When you speak with the staff it is clear that it’s not just work for them it is a passion and they are dedicated to the development of our children. Their facilities are outstanding, and so very clean, the nutrition plan is on point, the curriculum is amazing, the communication between her teachers and I is amazing, and most importantly I feel my daughter is 100% safe and taken care of.

**trigger warning on child abuse/ child harm**. I am posting this to warn parents about The Learning Experience here in Wilmington on Main Street being under investigation for child abuse/ child harm in preschool (3-4 years old).My 4 year old daughter had told me her 2 teachers in her preschool room grab her and other kids and hurt them when they're not listening or in trouble. She had bruises on her arms that look like fingerprints on three occasions. I reported this to the director, provided pictures, and both teachers were put on an administrative leave since 5/2.The investigation is still ongoing and active, yet the director and her boss have allowed them to come back as of this past Thursday 5/18. The Director said the reason is due to staffing in the room and having kids get back to a routine. This choice to allow people around kids who are under an active investigation is putting the business over child safety. I pulled my daughter from the center and I told the parents directly who have kiddos in the room. There are multiple kids impacted. My daughter and other kids have also said they get "taddle tickets" if they're telling on others in the class. It's incredibly disturbing to tell 3 and 4 year olds not to speak up or they get these red taddle tickets, and it's probably the reason other parents didn't know - putting a system in place to promote kids not to speak up or feel it's not ok to speak up. There have been no incident reports provided on how she got the bruises, and she has been very clear on what happened by telling me, the director, and the DCF case manager. It's been most devastating to hear her crying saying things like "It's all my fault and it's ok if my teachers hurt me. I just want to see my friends." She's looking at the removal from the center as another punishment rather than an effort to keep her safe. I will say, we've used TLE since 2018 and have encountered some amazing, caring teachers, but this is not acceptable what The Learning Experience management is allowing right now. The fact that TLE management, and possibly the Department of Early Education, are allowing teachers back who are under an active investigation for hurting kids is sickening and is very poor management. Please do not use this place for childcare.

We have been at the TLE for 3 years and now have both our girls there (ages 5 and 9 months). We have loved being at the TLE. The teachers are so great with each of our kiddos and my kids LOVE going. I really appreciate how much each of the teachers know them, seem genuinely happy to see them, and are invested in their lives. We actually drive 20+ min in the opposite direction of work to take them to the TLE because we have had such a great experience and know they will be safe and cared for (and I say this having tried a place closer to our home that was a terrible experience). We truly love the TLE.

Couldn’t be happier to send our little guy to TLE. We had an awesome experience from touring to the amazing teachers at early morning drop off to the classroom. The staff knows & understands the young child; even more meaningful- they treat and loves our kiddo (every kiddo) like their own.

The Learning Experience - Wilmington has been an absolute blessing for myself and my little. My little was showing signs of wanting to be around others their age, so I decided to look for a daycare/preschool that would best suit our family. TLE was at the top of my list and when we did the tour I knew in my soul that this is where we belonged. Nicole greeted us with a smile and showed us around the facility. It didn't take long for my little to interact with her surroundings and climb into the ball pit. As my little's eyes lit up as we went from room to room, I knew she was ready. I enrolled her later that day. From my little's first day to their first couple weeks, I have seen a positive change in them. While timid at first (they had never been around so many other children before), they now take off and start playing before I can finish putting their stuff down at drop off. They speak fondly of Miss. Nicole as well as their teachers and friends. They tell me about the wonderful experiences they have from day to day as well. Oh and the characters! We must go around the halls and point at each one before we leave for the day.On non-school days they ask why they aren't going to school and what their friends are doing. I know in my heart that I made the right decision in choosing TLE - Wilmigton to care for and educate my little.I cannot express enough how above and beyond the staff goes to welcome [new] students into their classrooms every day. They take the time to not only ensure that the children are at ease and having a positive experience, but they also make sure to chat with the parents and let them know how their children are settling in. TLE - Wilmington is more than just a daycare or a preschool... they're family!

A great learning institution. Both of my kids have gone here. My daughter still attends. A rigorous academic agenda, combined with a caring and loving staff. A safe place for my children to learn and have fun

We’ve had a great experience at TLE Wilmington! Our kids love it there and our oldest has attended for 3 years now. It’s really nice that they can age up within the same center so that I can drop off and pick up the kids at the same place. They also have an early drop off option which was essential!

TLE Wilmington is a fantastic place. We have had at least one child in the early childhood learning center over the past 8 years—with our youngest currently enrolled in the Kindergarten program. We have been very happy throughout the years with the individualized attention our children receive and the preparation they receive—both academically and socially—to enter school. The curriculum has always been impressive as both of our children were reading ahead of their age group and performing well in math, science, and more. The characters TLE brings into learning make it fun for kids of all ages effectively mixing in play and allowing kids to learn through play. Kids come home with different crafts and art projects, as well as a workbook each month—which makes it easy to stay connected with their learning and development. We love the use of the app, which keeps us informed about what is happening each day and proves to be a great conversation starter if our daughter is feeling shy about sharing details on her day.The staff is kind and welcoming and our children looked forward to attending each and every day. They really go out of their way to know, not just the kids, but the families as well, making the center feel like part of our local community—but with the resources of a national center. We were able to get flexible dates/times of attendance for both of our children—when most other facilities required full-week commitments.Overall, we have really enjoyed the years our children have spent at TLE and would absolutely recommend TLE to anyone considering enrolling their child. Parents can feel comfortable and confident that their children are getting the best care with a focus on learning and development, and kids just have an absolute blast day after day!

Great child care center! Well run, clean, and safe. The curriculum is fun while preparing the little ones for school. The kids go outside everyday and do lots of hands on art and discovery activities. Beyond the great care my son receives, I love this center because of how good the communication with teachers and administrators is - any questions I've ever had have been very quickly answered. Definitely recommend this center!
