Special Thanks to All of the Savers Team in Wilmington - I donated clothes, pocketbooks, shoes, blankets, household appliances, and kitchenware!

Went to Savers in Wilmington and paid for an item and an employee approached me and took the item that I already had paid. He calls a manager to double check the price and she took the price tag out and underneath was another tag and she told me that someone had changed the tags. I felt so embarrased with the situation and I asked her to return it because I didnt want to pay the price she was telling me was the correct one, but she told me that I needed to get another thing for the price I had paid for. Very embarraring moment that I hope I dont have to go through again.

Staff went above and beyond to help me track down a sentimental item that was accidentally donated by a family member. Thanks to Joanie and Mike for excellent customer service and caring management.

My daughter loves thrifting and Savers is the best place around to do it. She always finds cool tees and sweaters that she likes. The clothes are a great deal.

Pricing absolutely out of control. They are posting stuff for double what it would be brand new. Ridiculous!!!

I have been shopping at savers, goodwill and other thrift stores for several years. at Goodwill, Salvation Army, Habitat I do because it’s for a good cause. At savers because I can find items hard to find these days (also at the other stores), but it’s a publicly held, for-profit thrift store so I have mixed feelings about the concept. I have been inclined at stopping going to savers more recently, for two reasons: 1) their prices are way high compared to other thrift stores, 2) the savers near me, in Wilmington MA, has a very rude staff, who go above and beyond to make your shopping experience an unpleasant one, like they hate their jobs. From the guy who puts newly donated items away, to the guy who puts new items from the back to the front of the store, placing them at any empty spot. Except for clothes, all other items seem randomly placed on shelves. They could be selling more if buyers knew where to find what they are looking for. But the worst is the multiple employees kept in the front by the cash registers, not actually ringing each customers but doing it in a way, in the worst possible manner. I personally feel harassed when scanning items, with questions like: is this coat yours or ours, take it out of the cart and put it on so we know it’s yours, did you scan this (pointing at something I just put back in the cart from the counter). They have random items placed in plastic bags and hung by the wall. Many of them have holes on it. I bought one that had, and the lady asked me if all items were already in it. She stayed next to me the whole time staring at every scan. This has happened several times. I hear the same from friends and family members. If Savers’ policies require these employees to be this rigorous, why not just make all the 5 or so workers they have by the registers to actually scan, instead of being rude to customers. I have been a very good customer of the savers in Wilmington MA, but I don’t need to shop and be disrespected so I’m done.

Somehow it’s less expensive to buy items new than to shop here. You can find Dollar Tree items that cost twice as much here than the actual store. Same with all the Walmart, Target and Old Navy clothing. Books are no longer a good deal either. Better to shop Used Book Super Store in Burlington

This location is nice in variety, but there's a miserable older lady that's works there during day, she's rude every time I go here, god forbid you ask her any customer assistance. I put it over my shoulder every time, I figure some people could use a pass, we don't know their life/ struggles, but this last time I had to mention it. She huffs like your bothering her if you need her for something, she called me " ridiculous" on one of my visits. she has also wrongly accused me of not scanning items in the past, so yeah, Insulting the customer is great customer service to her apparently. It's a shame because managers here are nice. She doesn't match kindness of rest of staff . If you can't work with people, DONT!

I enjoy going to savers, especially when they send 20- 30% off coupons on certain categories. I get CDs for $3 or less, clothes pretty cheap, and sometimes something else. I would go here for those for sure.

Prices are way too high. Lot of Dollar Store items being sold for $2.99 the store seems to be taken advantage of people looking for a bargain. $19.99 for used frying pan. This place seems to be taking advantage of people looking to save a little money. I see lot of people shaking their heads and walking out.

Not really a fan of used clothing. Used shoes creep me out. Sometimes they have me items , like packs of socks.

The store is very clean, well organized, and great selection. Prices are ok - maybe a little higher than expected. But be careful, the staff is a collection of angry people. Especially the front register manager lady. She is cantankerous, rude and seemingly goes out of her way to make your life miserable. Even a quick question is met with a scowl. Watch out for the "exchange policy". No receipt - too bad can't look it up. No original tags still on the clothes? Too bad its yours. There are no try on rooms in this store so good luck if you get clothes and need to "exchange" them.
