Hi, first of all, I've never been here before nor do I know anyone that has, I want to let it be known that I do have a police scanner and just heard that a man drove into the front of Danielle's Salon..... I'm a little shocked that when the dispatcher said that she informed John Lucci, that the window was broken at the salon, he said that it was Danielle's responsibility to fix it. Idk, but I'm pretty sure that John Lucci owns the building and should repair it. Just wondering

Ive heard good things about this place, but unfortunately I am very unhappy with my haircut. It had been over 2 years since I had gotten a trim, and it was my first time at this salon. Danielle had me brush my own hair out after my wash while she worked on another client. I asked for a trim and to angle the front. Before the cut, my hair was past my waist with dead ends and some old overgrown layers. She explained that to do the front angles she had to cut it a certain way to "blend" so that "it didn't look like I had a mullet". I didn't get it blow-dried and went to work right after my appt. When I got home I saw it... Honestly the worst haircut I've ever gotten. Looks awful... so choppy , as if I tried to cut it myself. It looks like a mullet! She cut way too much in the front and left the rest long and no angle. It looks like a bob from the front ( shoulder length) and long (to my elbows) in the back. I was so excited to finally get my haircut , but now I feel bad about how I look. I know I have long thick hair but I don't know how you can mess up a simple cut like that!

I have been going here since she opened over 12 years ago and I finally created a Yelp account for reviewing food and I think I need to give props to this place too. There have been a few times when Danielle was on vacation, or something came up where I had to go elsewhere and it wasn't nearly as good! It's not like this is close to my house either , but I'll drive 30 minutes every two weeks for a fresh hair cut done right. It's one of the first things people notice about me, or anyone for that matter She takes her time, makes great conversation, everyone is super friendly and in great spirits because everyone in there walks in looking OK at best and leaving looking like a million bucks. I definetly get compliments on how good she lines me up in the back. She does men, women, business, kids, proms, wedding stuff and even hipster hair cuts. I have had hair cuts by both Danielle the owner and Danielle "D2". It's very much a family business, sometimes her mother comes in and cuts hair too so Danielle was born with scissors in her hand. I think they prefer you call and make an appointment before you go in because they get pretty busy but I'm not sure, maybe they do walk ins. I can't say enough good things about this place. Try it out, I think you'll be impressed.
