I was the first one waiting to be assisted by the banker. Wait 15 mins for her. She puts me in her office. Then greets another customer. Starts talking about his fraud situation. Then sets up an appt for him. All I wanted to do was order a debit card. If I was opening a checking acct or loan I’m sure I’ll be assisted right away. They need more workers here. I would give this place a 0 if it was an option.

BOA has to be thee worst of all major banks. I was warned repeatedly not to choose BOA & now I know why. Use any other bank- ANY!

Staff are nice, but incredibly understaffed location for a weekday morning. There is one teller with a line out the door and only one competent employee who knows what she’s doing. I had to come in for a check deposit after mobile deposit failed, watched the front desk try to mobile deposit it 10x until realizing it was futile (aka literally the reason I was there in the first place), and then direct us to wait in line like everyone else for 20 minutes….

I had an amazing experience at the Main St. Wilmington branch. I had recently visited my uncle in Florida to help him and his partner get into an Assisted Living Facility. I sold his car and we put his house up for sale while I was down there. We went to a BOA branch down there to add my name on his checking account so that I could write checks for his bills. When we got to the branch down there we did not have his partner with us so they would not let us put my name on it and I had to go home later that night. We did have to put some things in the safety deposit box while we were there and my uncle asked to teller to add me my name to the box. She took my ID and let me go in there with him but never told us she did not add me on. When I got home and called the bank in Florida and spoke to the manager she apologized for the teller and told me if I went to a branch up here with my ID and my uncle and his partner where in the branch down there she would allow him to put my name on the account and the safety deposit box. I made the appointment up here and down there but did not realize I had given the wrong address to the caregiver for the BOA in Florida. I had the caregiver take them since neither of them drive anymore. While I was in the office with Eliana she was so patient and with the permission of the branch manager Annie, let me wait there until the caregiver brought them to the correct branch in Florida. They were so nice to let me wait until they were in the correct branch down there. I was so grateful and thanked them many times for their wonderful customer service! That is the way every bank should treat their customers in my book. Great Service Wilmington Bank of America!

Been with this bank forever and have many accounts with them. The tellers are nice but the management here is abysmal. No matter what I need to do, from trying to get a form notarized, change an account, issues with a large check made out TO me, the manager here is not helpful. Today she didn’t even acknowledge my presence waiting for her. I cannot adequately express my frustrations with these people. Have already started the process of switching banks, moving retirement acts and credit cards etc.

I usually never review banks. But BOA had terrible teller coverage today and needs to put customer first. When a long transaction is taking place - bring on another teller.

I have been waiting on a refund to my account for a week. Spoke with manger Annie on the 11th to process my refund. Made a follow up appointment to get charges taken off my account due to my refund not being processed, and when I came in for my appointment extremely concerned that the money was still not in my account after being reassured it would be several times, I was told there was nothing they could do and they had other appointments they needed to get to. My appointment was at 930, at 929 they told me they had other appointments and were attempting to kick me out. They were extremely dismissive and rather than taking the time to even look into the issue they told me there was nothing that could be done and tried to kick me out before my appointment time even began.

I wish to give ZERO stars, but I cannot. The customer services is basically nonexistent. I don't like the way this bank treats its customers.
