I took my car to Carpinellos and asked them to do a state inspection and an oil change. I got a call from Diane, and she said the car was not ready for an oil change. I had mixed up the date when we had our last oil change. They could have easily done the work even though the car did not need it, but because they are an honest and professional business they did not. I highly recommend them for all of your automotive needs.

I went in for a coolant/heating issue and the issue wasn't resolved and was told I would receive a call as "they" were going to do some research and get back in touch

This is the Best Garage around. They are courteous (especially the young man who pumps gas). I dropped my car off because I couldn’t get my key out of my pt cruiser and not only was it done in a timely fashion, the cost was fair. My son Evan suggested Carpinello’s and I will be going back again. Thank you Evan and thank you Carpinellos.

Best automobile service center I have found in many years. They provide efficient and friendly service and always keep me apprised of any issues they find before they do the extra work. Prices are competitive, if not the lowest. I highly recommend Carpinello's Service Center to all.Service: Oil change

The car needed to be inspected in MA so we made a road trip to Williamstown with our two dogs. The inspection went well, as one would expect. The big surprise was how this full service station welcomed our dogs. They have an extra large dog bed in the waiting area and the attendant offered water and a bowl. This was so far above and beyond what we might have expected. Thank you Carpinello!!! You are The Best!!!

Went in for an inspection. Extraordinarily friendly and courteous folks. The inspection was completed in a timely manner, and I in general had a very good experience. Visits to gas/auto stations with repair service used to be painful experiences for me, feeling condescended to, rudeness, etc. But, I have had more than one auto visit with Carpinello's and all have been so very refreshingly pleasant. Thanks, Carpinello's!

I've officially ended my year-long odyssey at Carpinello's this month. It started out with what I thought would be a simple tire patch. But a few days later the same tire needed another patch. Oh, and a new front left TPMS sensor. A few months later I thought I'd take the car there for an oil change, since it's closer than my preferred garage. Oh, but then I needed new rear brakes. I did have them replace the brakes, but I got a new parking brake that I did not ask for in the bargain. I wish I had gotten a second opinion. About 2 weeks later the new right rear caliper completely oxidized. They then reportedly put a new one on. It oxidized again shortly thereafter. When I took the car back I got, "What do you want us to do about it?" Sensing defeat I said, "Just be aware that it's rusted after about 3 weeks." Fast forward to about 9 months later and another oil change. But oh, the battery needs to be replaced, and so do the 3 remaining TPMS sensors. I said that I didn't ask for the battery to be checked. No I did not want the battery to be replaced, nor the sensors. They also said that the motor on the rear window wiper that I'd asked them to look at needed to be replaced. Sensing (no pun intended) something amiss with the sensors, I took the car to the dealer, who, by the way, fixed the rear wiper (not needing a new motor) at no charge. They said that the 2 front sensors (including the one that Carpinello's had replaced less than a year earlier) needed to be replaced. In the mean time, I took the car back to Carpinello's because the right rear brake was running hot, and had started to make a screeching sound. I asked them what the warranty on calipers was and they said it depends. The preferred garage has a lifetime warranty on calipers. Carpinello's replaced the caliper yet again, they said, and otherwise the rear brakes were 'fine.' But oh, my front brakes need to be replaced. I declined. I took the car to the preferred garage, had them install new stems on the 2 front tires, having decided to forgo the expense of new sensors, live with the TPMS light on all of the time, and monitor my tire pressure with (gasp) my own two eyes, since the car is 10 years old. I also asked them to check the brakes. ALL brakes were 60% worn. This, to me does not constitute needing new brakes. However it is unacceptable that the rear brakes that Carpinello's is said to have installed were 60% worn after one year with less than 10,000 miles on them. Oh. And the 3rd rear right caliper that has supposedly been replaced during this odyssey rusted out after a week. I wonder if they just sanded it off and put it back on. Groundhog day is over.

My wife and I moved here to North Adams/Williamstown 3 years ago and a friend recommended Carpinello Service Center when we needed work done on our car and truck. They are hands down the most honest and hardworking mechanics and service techs I’ve ever done business with. I won’t go anywhere else no matter how long I have to wait to have any work done. During this pandemic they have also been sticklers when it comes to sanitizing the inside of the vehicle before they return it to us.Turns out we are also neighbors living on the same street. (I am using a friend’s google account because I am unable to access my own for some reason) I guarantee you will not regret having your vehicle serviced at Carpinellos.

Excellent service when I had a battery problem. It was accurately diagnosed and corrected. There was no rush job here, which was appropriate. John and his crew took the time to do the job right. Price was fair, service was friendly and efficient. I would recommend highly to anyone who has a vehicle problem.Service: Battery
