Booked an appointment one week ahead for Monday 9:20am. for an oil change, thinking that I would get my truck back before 11am. Monday morning, they came and picked up my truck at my house precisely at 8:56am. Received text stating it arrived at the facility at 9:15am. Little bit pass 1pm, I texted for updates since I didn't hear from them. Around 3pm, I received a text along with a video on the health of the truck, and they said they just started draining the oil. Shortly after, they called to inform me that the break fluid needed to be flush and the air filter needed to be replaced, but they would not have the time to get it done until the next morning becausethey're short handed. Needless to say, I was livid because I desperately needed my truck for work asap. Whoever is in charge of the service department needs to be reprimanded!!! A similar incident happened before a few years back, but I thought I would give them a second chance. Now I will bring my business elsewhere.

If I could give no stars, I would. Everything about my experience was very poor and the worst experience ever. I don't want to write a long paragraph, but the service department is atrocious and Ford should be ashamed to give their name to them. Poor customer Service, no integrity, and incompetent. The fact is they don't care. Avoid. Go to Lamoreux Ford instead.

Horrific. Terrible. Zero customer service. if there was zero stars this place would get it. It goes from really bad to horrific. Brought 2015 Ford Escape which was purchased from this dealership in to have its regular service and diagnostic. They ended up doing a service recall on a transmission related part. 3 weeks later the entire transmission fails while on a busy intersection. Quoted a price of 10k to replace the transmission (but they can get us $8,900 for a used transmission in a car older than ours with more mileage ). The bluebook value on the car was half of it. Found out Ford is in an active lawsuit for transmission failures on Ford Escapes. Dealership acted as if they had no clue. But was adamant it was unrelated to the work they performed on the service recall related to the transmission even though there is an active lawsuit! Thought perhaps Balise Ford was willing to do something to help us buy a new car because of all of this. We were offered $100 for our car to be traded in. Then $500 as they whined and told us how expensive it was on their end to tow our car to auction and then have it junked. Never once acknowledging a car that's only 8 years old has completely failed after having a diagnostic test, service work and recall work performed 3 weeks prior at their dealership! And us as car owners are out thousands of $$ dollars but whining as they are squeezing us for a few hundred bucks. We called Balise headquarters to try to rectify the situation and just be heard and treated decently. They took the info and redirected us to the manager at Balise Ford who was just as bad as everyone else. it's obviously in the culture here. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. We found a lovely, polite and kind junk yard who picked up our car without issue and ended up with more $$ for our car cash then Balise Ford was even willing to give us on a trade in Balise Ford is a joke. Caught on a one way street of their own demise. Good customers get treated badly. Go Elsewhere!

*DO NOT* use Balise Ford for service on your vehicle. Please do your research. This department has no credibility on BBB or any other review platform. My experience has rendered very poor customer service, care, or concern to anyone's case and not to mention rude behavior from the SA's and service managers. My truck was kept there for 2 months while diagnosing an issue that they caused during a routine ford recall. Upon multiple requests, no loaner vehicle was ever offered up to me let alone a rental vehicle. When I finally got the call to pick up my "fixed" truck, they had a charge of over $1500 to pay for parts that they added that and didn't fix the issue. Consequently, I took my truck with the problems that Balise Ford imposed on it to a different service center and the problem was diagnosed and repairs are underway WITH a car to drive in the interim. Attached are some photos to illustrate the ill kept condition of just a small part of their service bays. Its very disappointing to me that Ford allows a department such as this to operate in this manner for as long as it has.

Most awful customer experience I’ve ever had in a car company.. please do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money at this dealership. I wouldn’t recommend any family or friend to ever come here to purchase or repair their car. Unprofessional and rude.

the service department could be more transparent. I purchased a vehicle with a known oil leak. that was not disclosed. they tried to fix it twice. they lied and told me that the updated part number was installed. it couldn't be because it's one year too old. they lied. and then the third time they ignored it and sent me down the road. definitely frustrated with the runaround from service. gone on just long enough to be outside lemon law. a 50000 dollar oil leak. absolutely bottom of the barrel dealership.

I have had 3 different issues that were covered under warranty in the 2 years since I purchased my vehicle here. Each time, they advise me not to drive my vehicle, but they also do not provide a rental for the multiple weeks between ‘diagnosing’ and solving the issue. Zero customer service, phone tag, and problems brushed off. Heard a sound in my wheel in October, waited 2 weeks for an appointment, and they couldn’t hear it. 2 months later, I’m back because of a constant grinding, which ends up being an issue that is covered under my warranty. Negligent, careless and inconsiderate.

The technician used the wrong filter for my vehicle, and stripped the drain plug by tightening it with an impact wrench. Car was stored since the last change yet they denied responsibility.Service: Oil change

Brought my Explorer in April for a recall of the roof rails, mine seemed fine but Ford was paying to put new ones on, apparently they are prone to flying off. I go to pick up the car to find the rails missing off the roof. They didn't explain to me when checking out that they had to order the parts- one would think they would have the parts in stock if I made the appointment well in advance and they knew they were being replaced. I go back inside and they tell me they'll have the parts in a week, ok a little inconvienent, but didn't think too much of it Initially. its now October- 6 months later. My explorer looks ridiculous without the roof rails. Every time I call Balise Ford nobody knows when the parts will come in. One person even suggested that the parts will never come in. service manager never returns calls, nobody at the dealer responds to the "contact us" page inquiries. Tried Balise corporate, nobody responded. the best part-they wanted to buy the car, but wanted to ding it by 1500 bucks because the rails were missing! What a joke of a dealership.

Where do I even begin when it comes to a place that focuses on siphoning money from elderly people who clearly have a bullseye on their head for being taken advantage of. It all started one morning when my mother sent me a frantic text about an outlandish bill that they pushed on her due to the fact that she was convinced her car repair would surpass what was within her budget. She was asking me whether or not she should agree to trade in her car for one of theirs on the lot. I can only imagine the dollar signs illuminating from these vultures eyes as they circled their prey. They somehow coaxed her there initially for a recall and they then concocted an array of the above "necessary repairs". This caused her to leave it there over night Here's a little back story: My mother has undiagnosed dementia. She wears her heart on her sleeve and greedy corporate places like this see her coming from a mile away. She went to this place (for some minor repairs) believing in the good nature of these people to look out for her and reassure that her car would be taken care of. After this initial work was done, they noticed a WHOLE bunch of other issues that resided within the car. They started quoting astronomical prices for work that "needed" to be done in order to pass inspection (yes I consulted with a friend who was well versed in car repair). This work was unnecessary. My mom was just about ready to trade it in when I accompanied her to pick up the car. She approached the counter and I stood far enough away to hide in the shadows. She gave my mother a bill of close to 1k dollars. I thought, "okay that's reasonable, I remember that she told me she needed a couple things fixed." Then as the interaction continued I started to smell a rat. I observed the customer representative (let's just call her 'Karen') explain that there was work done on the car but they ran a diagnostic and found 5 thousand dollars worth of extra repairs that needed to be done. I instinctively stepped in and asked "why was the diagnostic not done first? That way if she knew the bill was going to be higher, she might have just taken it somewhere else to be traded in. Instead of paying for labor on a car that, according to you, needs more work than it is worth?" Karen did not like my question. As though I had the audacity to use common sense. She impudently responded with "because they did the work she asked us to do" in a very condescending tone. Then looked away from me and printed out the bill as though her shallow response was good enough to appease me. Oh, I am so sorry Karen to just assume that a well recognized dealership would instinctively alert their customer if an initial repair suddenly branches out into all of these other issues. I am no car guy but I would imagine a diagnostic would be conducted first on a vehicle before moving forward with any work. If any problems arise that the customer is not aware of, CALL THEM while they are trusting you with their keys. It is not only common sense but common curtesy. Customer first, right? Nahhhh. For you, it's money first and morals last. What kind of training does this place even give to their employees? Certainly nothing to do with compassion Oh I almost forgot. They charged her $140 for labor on a windshield pump, but never even fixed it!!! Shame on you Balise Ford. I am surprised you are at 2 stars overall but I guess that extra star is because the place looks clean.
