Great prices awesome seafood section. Deli is stocked with great entrees cold meats. Bakery is booming with pastries of all kinds. Meats are excellent great prices and the quality is the best.
Helpful friendly folks. Even their music is good.

Profiling young non white customers?
My daughters were just asked for their receipt after using the self checkout. They scanned a package of chicken breast and a package of frozen shrimp among other items. They paid by debit card, and as they were leaving, an older female Big Y employee approached them and asked “did you scan the shrimp” my daughters replied “yes” and then the big y woman asked to see the receipt. My daughters felt that she was insinuating that they may be stealing. My daughters we offended enough to tell me the story when they got back. Both my daughters are accomplished students one recently graduated with two science degrees from UMass, the other is a Junior at a local private school. The only reasons that my daughters were asked if they had paid for shrimp is because of their age and their complexion. Absolutely unacceptable. People that have limited or no interactions with other community’s or cultures are more likely to discriminate in this way. Sometimes they do not even realize they are doing it, but other times they do. Maybe some sensitivity train for the Big Y family is in order.

They are rarely out of sale items, a big misconception is that they are expensive, this is absolutely crazy thinking, compare prices at Walmart and you'd be amazed, at least a 30 percent lower price across the board at Big Y than Walmart. I do not understand why people shop at Walmart, things are outrageously expensive and of lower quality! The only thing Walmart has to offer is small pet food treats at great prices and their large apple pie! Although Big Y's pies are excellent too!

I always have amazing experiences at Big Y in Wilbraham. Every time I visit, I’m impressed by how well-organized and immaculately clean the store is. The layout is intuitive, making it easy to find everything I need without any hassle. The aisles are always neat, and the shelves are fully stocked with a great selection of products.
The staff at Big Y are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to assist customers. Whether it's helping me find a specific item, offering product recommendations, or just greeting me with a warm smile, their positive attitudes and willingness to help create a welcoming and pleasant shopping environment. They make me feel valued as a customer every time I visit.
Recently, I went in to purchase a cake for my nephew's birthday. The lady at the bakery was extremely helpful and kind. She even gave my niece and nephew cookies for free! Such a thoughtful act really made our day and exemplified the excellent customer service that Big Y is known for. It’s little gestures like these that make a big difference and show how much they care about their customers.
The overall shopping experience at Big Y in Wilbraham is consistently top-notch. From the quality and freshness of the produce to the cleanliness of the store and the exceptional customer service, Big Y stands out as one of the best grocery stores in the area. I highly recommend shopping here if you want an stress-free and enjoyable grocery shopping experience.

Only 2 places are worthy for me to shop for meats at. Fresh Acres and Big Y Wilb, MA.
But! I noticed the 1st and hopefully the last down grade in the Big Y brand Chicken breasts.
I purchased a huge family pack of boneless skinless chicken breasts that looked very clean and well managed by the store however the company they purchased from tortured this poor animal.
The breast had a huge bruise with large clots. I had only one other issue but that's completely different and has stopped as of recent.
There are quick sneaky painless ways to kill an animal properly. This was not it. Ok so maybe it was a newbie employee or the person di this accidentally from being over worked?
The questions of how are endless and unnecessary. My hope is to the buyer for big y to get to the bottom of it. If it is unacceptable find a more compassionate farmer.

Big store, very nice, organized, and clean. This store has ample parking and boasts a large selection of products. There is a pharmacy, liquor, bakery, and more. Restaurants nearby if you're hungry afterwards and more shopping choose by if your running errands. This is a fine store to do your grocery shopping - can recommend.

Overall a very nice store, one of my preferred places to shop. Very clean, well lit and stocked. Prices are great! Though there are 2 other stores closer to me, this one is right by my work and I prefer it over the other 2 locations, mainly for the kitchen. The pizzas are great and the sandwich counter the best, always fresh and never an ounce of attitude when you request something to be made fresh like chicken nuggets. Anytime I order food over the phone it's always ready in time and as ordered.Other than a couple of experiences with lazy and rude younger employees, I have only had great service at this location.The deli counter is very efficient and I love that Big Y now carries Boar's Head, that was the pivoting event that won me over as a loyal customer, that and the fair value pricing that beats the competitors. Big Y as a whole has really stepped up their game lately, I'm very impressed and satisfied with all the kitchen, deli, seafood, and bakery products and services, always top notch!! The Table and Vine section in this store is always well stocked and has a lot of fantastic choices. I highly recommend you come to this store for your grocery needs, pick up a take out menu for that quick, affordable and delicious lunch or dinner, some of the best onion rings around! The app is great as well, I always get offers to load that seem to know when I need them. Also mentionable are the rewards points, I save a lot of money on gas!
