After the Dollar General in Milford, MA closed at the end of September 2023 I was going to the DG in Woonsocket, RI. Found this DG that's a lot closer to me which is great! Driving less miles/time and using less gas. The isles are not as wide as they were in the Milford store but less congested than the DG in Woonsocket. This is now my DG store. Over all the store was clean and well stocked. I just have to learn where everything is now. Not all the DG's are setup the same.

If anyone thinks walmart employees are not the brightest and not helpful. This place gets the trophy. Talk about no help and useless people. I think they are more concerned with being outside smoking. Lets not forget how much this place is cluttered and a mess or how prices are not all that cheap for a dollar general.

I went to the counter to purchase a couple of items and there was a price descrepancy on one of the items. The item rang up higher than what was listed on the shelf price. I mentioned this to the clerk and she never even attempted to check it out. Instead she continued to charge me the higher price even though I had mentioned it to her. I was taken aback at the fact that she didn't even make an attempt to check the price for me. I work in retail and the company I work for does allow the employees to make price corrections up to a certain dollar amount. I was very disappointed that this store doesn't apply similar policies for their customers. I guess I won't be frequenting this store very often.

100% avoid unless absolutely necessaryDon't take this as an indictment on the individuals employed there, as this is most likely corporate policy+people following their job description.Some very real observations that could impact your wallet:1) The registers are almost never staffed2) you must proactively seek out a staff member to ring you out3) Self checkout does not give you sale prices4) Many common items are priced "on sale"5) They only inform you this in a fading, hand written sign.---------------So, while it may look like a quick and easy stop- and very well could be- you also need to factor in the reality that you may have to go wrangle your own associate to actually pay the price as listed on an item.This would be less of a toxic/harmful system if they had somebody up there more than 1% of the time. I live the next street over and so at this point, we aren't talking once, or twice, or 3x that this has happened, it is clearly par for the course.The store is otherwise alright, but its important to understand exactly how they've designed their pricing and sale system, IN COMBINATION with their standard operating procedure of having you check yourself out = "you", collectively, are going to pay more here than you should, or youre going to pay for it in time by finding + waiting on somebody to come grant you the price AS LISTED in the aisle.Toxicccccc

They have non-functioning internet and are in a place with no cell coverage so online orders cannot be fulfilled. I will not be picking up doordashes from their location again. For your employees and your dashers sakes, please fix your freaking internet! You’re losing business!

Out of hundreds of dollar stores these days you see the same thing at all of them. along with the people working who don't wanna be there. BUT THIS IS A WHOLE DIFFERENT PLACE!!!! TOP OF THE LINE PRODUCTS YOU DO NOT SEE AT OTHER DOLLAR STORES. EMPLOYEE'S ARE FRIENDLY AND VERY HELPFUL!!! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL & VERY TASTEFUL DECO, TOYS, CLOTHES, HUGE VARIETY OF FOOD, SNACKS, ECT. HUGE PLACE, WITH EVERYTHING YOU COULD IMAGINE AT PERFECT PRICES!!! THIS IS MY DOLLAR STORE FROM NOW ON!!!!!

Nice store, new. It's in the location where the Salvation Army used to be.Note that Google Maps got confused with the "Linwood" address so it shows up in the middle of a neighborhood in Northbridge. Try seaching instead for the GPS location: 42.10079, -71.64295.

Friendly crew and it's a pleasant little place to pick up different things.They have a lot of snack items and staples.They have refrigerated things also.I'm happy with some of their make-up selection too.I have been going quite a bit.
