Called at 8am on 11/1/22 to see if they had a cough syrup that was on back order at every CVS. They had one bottle left. MD sent script right over. I went there about 45 minutes later to pick up. The young lady up front was wonderful. She did not have my insurance info as I use CVS but she looked it up and ran it through for the coverage before I even got there. Waited no more than a few minutes for it to be ready. Best experience I have had in a pharmacy.

Their recorded telephone system is terrible it just doesn't work near impossible to talk to a pharmacist your better off not using it and going directly to the pharmacy to get your questions answered

So I go for a flu shot. I swear they never gave one before. I have the sorest shoulder it feels like I was shot. Literally. The guy with the needle needs a refresher course. Dam near killed me

Easily the worst pharmacy ever. They don't answer the phones AT ALL and even when your RX is ready it still takes upwards of a half hour to actually get it. I so miss the Rite Aid that closed down and switched everything over to this garbage place.

The Walgreen's pharmacy in Central Square in East Boston is a blend of Mass.College of Pharmacy,Harvard Medical School and the Four Seasons hotel.The former for their encyclopedic knowledge of medicine and the later for their 5 stars level of premium hotel service.I'd like to ackowledge the dedication of pharmacist Hina and her assistant Kemi.If you ever needed a 73 senior spokesperson.I'm your man.Gerard Leary.

Worst pharmacy ever. Pharmacists are awful, rude, and unhelpful and have zero customer service skills. I've delayed changing pharmacies due to inconvenience but I've had enough of this horrible, depressing place.

I called about a vaccine and they said my insurance covered it, and it would be in on Monday. I called back Monday to make sure the vaccine was received and they had no idea what I was talking about and offered no solutions. I called corporate support and they told me the request was denied but I was never contacted so I wasted 4 days waiting. Thinking I could get the very time sensitive vaccine today. Disappointing situation.

I am an avid couponer and visit pharmacies often due to the awesome deals they run. While Walgreens will never compare to CVS in terms of deals every week, Walgreens does sometimes have one or two promotions that are great. I find couponing great to get stuff for free or really inexpensive, even being able to donate goods occasionally. This store makes it extremely difficult to be a couponer. I shop at many different locations and this is the ONLY store that has EVER said that internet printable coupons are not valid at their store. I shop at all three of the Newton locations every weekend, and all three always accept all of the coupons I ever want to use. Store seems to be well stocked and well organized, but not a place for couponers. They said that too many people copied coupons so they don't accept them anymore, but I find it odd that it's just this particular location. I'll stick with my regular stores, I apologize for stopping here since I was in the area.... absolutely ridiculous. 1 star.

The quincy one have phonemenal stuff at the pharmacy! So touched by their great service that i did actually called their reciept survey for the first time . not to enter the sweepstake but to rate that exceptional service.

Thanks to Walgreens pharmacy I am now having a conversation with my 4 & 7 year old grandchildren about standing up when you or others are mistreated. Had the nastiest pharmacist ever.

Worst Walgreens ever. The staff smoke right outside the only entry making it hard for people to go get in or out of the store. The entire checkout area smells like a wet ashtray all the time. They have no regard for their customers or the law. I have also seen girls in the pharmacy fight with each other and give attitude to each other while the Pharmisit just watched. I will be going to another Walgreens from now on.
