South Coastal is EXCELLENT in every way. From the front office staff to the techs, doctors, facility itself it's the BEST of the BEST!

Do NOT complain about the service of the distracted front desk staff while you have two screaming GSDs (even in the most begine way... no frowns or questons!) I had 2 two GSDs, 7 mos and alomst 14. on leashes begging to leave. ( the senior cant stand on linolioum) You will get an envelope with your dogs records and be told not to come back?!? Hugh? Med staff is good... Techs are mostly clueless and FD is very poor. They have a no abuse policy posted all over the building which I get!... but they seem to be using it to hide behind it themselves when FD is too distracted or uncaring to help you? (Easy way out on complaints?) Very very poor FD customer service. The woman that checked me out had a 5lb dog in her lap which was more important than helping me pay, write a name down (using only one hand tto write b/c shes holding a 5 lb dog) and getting my two dogs out who were just done being there, and screaming. I was not abusive in any way but, no, I was not happy with the service I got. In the normal universe, a manager would have been called and come out to duscuss issues? Nope... I was just deemed"abusive" for having a disapovaling face on... Not good and Illl be giving the next 5k for 2 dogs to another vet. Just poor all over! These folks need to get a grip! UPDATE. This vet percribed by senior a med in November and declined the refill on Chewy in January after I got my "You can't come back" letter with my dogs records after my last visit. My 14 yo GSD was left high and dry with no pain meds. Really? Don't think for a second these people care about your fur babies. There are two sides to every story.

Amazing, caring, and professional staff. Our dog had surgery here and it went great. Fearing a large bill but it came out doable!Just an fyi - they don’t have overnight care (we had to take our dog to pet ER down the street) so of surgery required schedule it in the AM with them!

I can't say enough good things about South Coastal Animal Health. The vet techs are very helpful and friendly, the veterinarians are great, and they try to find the most economical options without sacrificing your pet's care. I have been bringing my pets to South Coastal for over a decade now and I highly recommend.

Just moved from Vermont so read a bunch of reviews and chose this practice. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. They have a no jackass policy and they deserve to have a wonderful workplace because the provide SUPERLATIVE care for all the animals they service. Excellent and detailed explanations, thoughtful recommendations ... never the sense they are charging things just to charge them which is highly appreciated. Very knowledgeable about new things on the market and overall just a very positive experience. You won't be disappointed. Unless you're a jerk. Then you can't go there anyway :)

We would like to express our gratitude for your invaluable help and service. Nine years ago, we welcomed Frankie, our beloved cat, into our family from a nearby animal shelter when he was 10 years old. Frankie, a charming black and white feline with an insatiable appetite, quickly became an integral part of our lives.During a critical emergency a few years ago, we found ourselves in a dire situation and had to rush Frankie to South Coastal Animal hospital. Despite reaching out to multiple animal hospitals, only South Coastal Animal Hospital was able to accommodate his urgent surgery, ultimately saving his life. Today marks Frankie's final day, and we want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to every member of the South Coastal Animal Hospital team for their unwavering kindness and compassion. Thank you all for your consistent support and care.

Really love it here. Everyone has been so kind. My dog had an issue and they saw him immediately. I was home sick so they came out to my car and brought my dog in for me, took care of him, and brought him back out so I wouldn't have to. It was so appreciated. I woiuld definitely recommend!

The staff really cares and wants the best for your pet. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences taking my dog here. The entire staff from the front desk to the doctors are extremely caring and empathetic. I brought my dog in after having a bad experience with the VCA hospital in Weymouth. My dog tore his ACL and they were able to get me in short notice and see my dog right away. They were patient, kind, and took their time with him to give the best treatment and options. Thank you to the doctors and staff here!
