Update as of 1/28/23: sauna STILL visibly moldy with trash all over. Soap dispenser in bathroom broken. First two machines minimum not working until I locate a working one. This gym operates like “you’re lucky there’s a gym here at all”•Overall facility is in disrepair. One of two saunas is just a closet, the other smells horridly of mold, which can be seen all over.•Mirrors are broken and taped together inside the gym.•Pieces falling off the equipment, most with visible grime.•Bathroom smells fowl.•No water cooler type of setup, just dirty water fountains.•Predatory cancellation practices.

I've never written a review of any place but after reading many of the reviews already posted, I realized I wasn't the only one who is effected by their cancellation policy. I moved away from the area in the beginning of January so I called to cancel my membership on January 15th. A very nice young man let me know there was a 30 day policy when terminating and said I would be charged for February because I only gave 15 days. I told him no worries and asked if I needed to do anything else on my end and he said no and I wouldn't be charged after February. I checked my bank account today and found a charge of $78.99. Turns out I was charged for the March fee plus the annual fee. I called and spoke with Cary the manager who informed me I had to give at least a 30 day notice within a billing cycle. When I tried to explain that it had been 45 days since I terminated the membership, he then informed me that in order to not have any charges for March, I should have let the gym know by mid-December. If the cancellation policy is 30 days in advance, how is it that January 15th isn't within the 30 days? He continued to say it had to be at least 30 days and again I kept saying it had been 45 days. It was clear he had no intention of working with me at all. I asked if he could just waive the annual fee since I don't even live in the area anymore and most definitely will not be returning to this gym. He flatly said no. He then said people were waiting for him and hung up. Very poor business practices. It's a shame because I liked the gym (although cleanliness is not high on their priority list) and loved the trainer, Ann who helped me immensely. She's the only reason I'm giving any stars at all.

What an absolute joke ... I had my membership revoked after months of being harassed and discriminated against by an Incredibly unprofessional manager Cary... the place is filthy . Never any soap . Locker rooms, toilettes and showers are never cleaned. Stay away at all costs , many nicer gyms in the area with professional staff. This manager should be fired immediately

Good gym but sooo dirty. It's like they just gave up on cleaning it. So unfortunate because it hasn't always been this way.

I don't know what the poor reviews are all about. The gym is clean, not overly packed like planet fitness and the staff is nice. They got rid of the one year commitment on contracts, so I gave them a shot. It is a nice gym without a ton of frills. They have some classes at both locations if that's your thing. I am keeping them at 4 stars because there are not a ton of classes that work for people with full time jobs, but that's about it. A 5:30 AM spin class or yoga class would be nice or 7 PM. They have one yoga class on Tuessday at 6 and I have yet to make it since I don't usually get home from work till 6.Overall I would recommend the gym as an upgrade to the zoo over at planet fitness.

I’ve been going to the Weymouth location, and I’m loving it. It’s clean, and your not right on top of one another. Never have to wait to use a machine. And I’ve only met the morning staff, and there very friendly.

HVAC had been out since August 2021. That meant no AC, and NO heat all Winter. 9 dam months! Baby's are conceived and born during that time. Going into another Summer and still hearing the same excuses.

Love that I can go to the gym and actually get a work out in without have to wait for someone to finish their exercises.

Hasn't had heat all winter. No AC last August. But to be fair he Doesn't own the building. That said doesn't do maintenance. Shower leaks into men's locker room. 1 toilet doesn't flush properly. Overall clean up is lacking.

I highly recommend this place, with 3 locations in Quincy, Weymouth and Abington the price is a steal. No down payment needed either. I was going to Planet Fitness for a while and pretty much out-grew that place. Equipment here is a little dated but they have everything you could possibly need.

Nice gym, good staff. My only concern is it's not that clean. I used to see a cleaning company coming through early in the mornings mopping the floors and wiping down and dusting everything and that no longer happens ?

Unfortunately this is the type of establishment where ownership couldn't care less about their clients , they have the worst hours in the industry that's why there has been a mass exodus of late ... managements response " I'm not going to pay someone an extra 12 dollars a night to keep 10 members paying 39 dollars a month . Owner preaches about what a "real gym" should be and his ends up being worse then "Curves ".Please sell the Weymouth location too ,to a "gym person "
