Service needs improvement from the Sunday morning key guy in Isle #2, There was a line of 2-3 people looking to get keys made. When the "key guy" had fake customer's aka his family/friends come in to pull him away from his station with fake questions so he can visit family on company time.. A quick 5 minute chat with family is reasonable. But the fake customer and him when off leaving the 2-3 people in line abandoned for over an hour. The family/friend even smiled at the line before leaving almost mocking the customers waiting for him... Need to let this guy go or put a stop to this. Incident happened on Sunday Jan 14th, 2024 around 11am. So the morning shift key guy needs to be pulled into the GM's office for a talk about focusing on keys and keeping family visit to a minium or just let him go and promote someone who is a better fit.

Went to Lowe's in Weymouth to have a storm door installed. Salesperson set up call with a company to do the measurements and they never showed up or returned numerous calls or texts. Called the Lowes storm door department after several days to find out why no one called me back and was left on hold for over 15 minutes while he took care of another customer and then hung up on me. Can see any future in this company. Be careful what you buy from them because they may not be around for long.

When there is a Store Manager that I have encountered that helped and assisted me at point of sale and was very professional and customer orientated I have to let everyone know. This person made my day.His name is "TED " and if there were Lowes employees that had more TED'S in all their Locations then they would be the Best Home Improvement one stop shopping store around!I have shopped the OTHER Home Improvement store and find that the PRICES and Selection are far better at LOWESEVEN THE SALE PRICE FOR GARDEN SOIL IS LESS THAN THE COMPETITOR Home Depot.Thank you TED for making someone shopping at LOWES VERY HAPPY with their purchase!

Bought a new electric oven and power chord from Lowe's to be delivered. We had gas but there was a carbon monoxide leak so we decided to switch over. We had a plumber close off the gas and an electrician install a new appropriate outlet. We were ensured that because it was electric the oven would be installed. The delivery was scheduled for Wednesday. The people first refused to give us the power chord and said it wasn't purchased. We had to show the receipt before they "found" it in the truck. Then they refused to install. After persuading them, they plugged it in but didn't add the child proof tip kit which comes with the oven. They said we had to purchase separately. They told me to call Lowe's and left. I have a small child. It's not right that they are willing to put her in danger. I called Lowe's and was on hold for 50 minutes. When the person answered they denied it had been any time at all. When I explained what happened, they said they would have their delivery people call me back within 30 minutes. 2 hours later I still had not heard back so I called again and was told the person who could help had left an hour ago but they promised they'd call the next day. They did and scheduled an installation team for Sunday. The installation team came and took one look and said "Lowe's doesn't install anti-tip kits" and left. Absolutely disgraceful and unsafe. Do not do business with these people!

Ugh. Was sent to Lowe's because Yale Electric doesn't have black appliances in stock.Went to Weymouth Lowe's to buy a simple microwave. Was met by sales person assigned to dept and the employee was absolutely lazy and useless. Before even checking the computer proceeded to tell me they didn't have any black appliances. So I went to lowe's website and called up the one I found online, turns out they indeed have plenty of black microwaves. Then she said oh that isn't in this store. So I searched the Weymouth store which indicated they did have the one I wanted and I could have it by Oct 6.I handed her my phone so she could enter the model number, etc, check price, etc.She handed me back a contract saying I'd have it by Nov 6. I said but it says online I can take delivery by Oct 6 and reason I bought is so I don't need to continue to go without a microwave. She gave me some bs story about it not being in the store (which online inventory indicates otherwise). So I went home, called customer service, they do have the one I want in stock and installers should call to schedule appt in the next few days. Fingers crossed.I should get the commission on this sale because I literally found and sold myself this microwave online. The sales person literally brushed me off at every turn! Unbelievably bad. I need a refrigerator but no way I'm going back there.

I have had nearly uniformly good experiences at this Lowes. sometimes very good experiences. I think it flows from the assistant manager, Seamus, but that might be my pro-immigrant take on it. I've been back enough to see at least three people several times, and they are all ok. during the pandemic (still going on, but declared nearly over), they have done their jobs (as the great philosopher Belichick says). I do have the impression that the management is either kinder or smarter in how they treat the employees so that the employees are smarter and kinder to you. I no longer have to ask directions for most things. which is sad, because it means I have to do too many projects. if you can have affection for a box store, I have it, at least for the people in this one. yes it has some flaws and rough edges, but enough people enough of the time do a good to better than expected job. I'll go back, particularly if nantasket paint and hardware can't cover it.

Was informed fences will be installed in 3-4 weeks. Turned out it took 5 plus weeks and nothing has been done. Once they take your money they're gone with the wind.Other than that their contractors P&C are wonderful people. Got one broken fence delivered but they went right away for a new order.

I got a bad vibe from these people, and it's not the first time that's happened. People here just seem so uptight and rude. I asked someone where a particular item was, and he seemed annoyed as he pointed in the direction of where it was, and he said he could see it from where we were standing. If it was that close, why didn't he just walk me over there and show me where it was?I went to the area he was pointing and looked all over, and I still couldn't find the item. So, I went looking for other things. I saw another employee, so I asked her where this item was, and again, she pointed in the general direction of where it was. This time, I got smart, and asked her to walk over there with me and show me where it was. Once again, she seemed annoyed, just like the other guy. So I found the item, but unfortunately, there was no price tag on it, which is a common problem in Lowe's.A few minutes later, I was looking around for another item, and the same woman who assisted me before saw me and asked, "Now what are you looking for?" I guess these people don't like helping customers find things! At that point, I just told her I was all set and I walked out.

Shopping for a dishwasher called Lowe's in Weymouth, to inquire about installation, the gentleman who answered the phone told me it was at least $500, the dishwasher that I want to purchase is only $499. He had a ruffle or a lays chip on his shoulder and was not kind, he actually seemed annoyed at me for asking.I called Yale electric in Dorchester, I have an appointment tomorrow, and they quoted me $299, with free delivery and removal for the old unit. What did I expect from a box
