Stay away from this location at all costs if you do not want your sensitive information to be shared with other customers who go in to file their taxes. My parents have been filing their taxes with Barbara Lybarger, and this year, something went wrong. Despite a joint filing with a $40-45k income, they ended up owing $6k. Now, I have to deal with the IRS and file an amended return. On top of owing this much, they still had to pay close to a $500 filing fee with H&R Block.
While reviewing their paperwork, I realized there were documents that did not belong to my parents. Tax preparer Amy Farrell or someone at the location somehow included paperwork belonging to a guy named Eric L, containing very sensitive information (SSN, DOB, ADDRESS, EMAIL), among other things. I have already reached out to this person to let him know what happened. This is beyond unacceptable. There is no fix to this mistake.

I have a regular full time job. Have a side gig(Uber). And a few stocks(small timer). Nothing complicated.I really don't see how they can charged $500.by far,the most expensive tax service I've ever used.

My taxes were done by Ms Daniela Popolov a very competent preparer who knew what she was doing and worked very efficiently. The receptionist was an extremely pleasant woman as well. For years I went to the Block office on Old Colony Ave in South Boston which recently closed and moved to another location in south Boston with no parking which I need so I went to the Weymouth branch and was very pleased with the service I received which was the same as it was with Patricia Kennedy in the old South Boston Office.
