I've gone to this locations for years. Before covid, it was an OK location. Since Covid, it's clear they are having trouble keeping people. The teller rather than helping people at the desk was trying to get people to use the ATM instead. I didn't need to use the ATM, and I told her I need to speak to a manager. The manager was busy but I was waiting patiently. Then I was told to use an app for what I needed. The only reason I came to this branch was because I was told by the customer rep on the phone that I needed to talk to manager at a physical bank to fix the problem. In the end issue was resolved in less than 5 min.I would rather get help from a person than an app. I would rather get the help that I need rather than what's convenient for customer reps at the bank. Citizens, like many bussiness, is making things harder on customers and their employees. If you can go to a real citizens bank than the ones in Stop and Shop. They seem to be better set up to help you.

Always closed for no apparent reason. Twice now I have been on shortly before 5 and the bank had closed early. Today I camped at 1pm and there was a sign that the branch was ATM only today with no further explanation.

Horrible customer service. I asked 5 times to review the past 30 days of transactions on account and the teller refused. In all transparency I swore twice after 20+ minutes of refusal to assist me over the phone and was hung up on with no resolution.

They did not cash the check of my client for no reason, this bank is continue to be the worse of mass, i won't accept that bank check and do not waste your time to cash your check, i am glad i don't have account with that bank.

Thank you two ladies, Bri and Zil! They got our backs over there in the East weymouth at the stop and shop branch...even if we, the customers, act like stressed out little babies at first. Sorry again ladies and thank you so much! You're amazing. You two deserve a raise!

Horrible customer service. The manager was extremely rude to me when I was trying to cash a check. He tried to hand me off to another employee and said “take care of her so we can get rid of her†I have never been treated so horribly at a bank in my life. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Horrible customer service , set up and environment period. Not a fan of the Weymouth area at all very rude stuck up . Very inefficient location had an old lady after screaming at me what do you want instead of a “I can help you over here†. Gave her a Citizen's Bank Check only to later find out she put a hold on the check. I didn't think to look since every Citizen's Bank I've ever been to cleared the check immediately due to it having there stamp . Had to go through a 4 day headache of waiting for the check to clear due to it being around the holidays. Having other locations say “I have no clue why they would do thatâ€. The atmosphere is very snobby, steer clear if possible.

Horrible horrible service, customer service is non responsive. I'm a 60 yr old disabled guy who is bad at money management, meds? Age? But either way I made it clear when signing up that I did not want overages covered, if there is not enough money then dont pay it. Came up 3$ overdrawn so I deposited 20$ to cover it BUT they got late fee in there first so now 38$ over. Can't cover till next months check. Tried to explain this to no avail 30$ every couple days for still being over, currently at 130$, all over a 3$ overage. Such bullshit.
