“If you're craving authentic chocolate and candy stop by this establishment! The woman was so kind and helpful, the prices are fair and the items are delicious.”
“This little Sugar Shack was absolutely adorable! My cousin and her girls brought me here. You take a short drive into the woods until you come upon a tiny little wooden house. It’s open 24 seven and full of homemade chocolates and other candies. Make sure you bring cash because it can add up pretty quickly. The sea salt caramels were the best I’ve ever had. It was a cold day, so they tasted even better after they came to room temperature. This hidden gem is a must see if you’re in the Cohasset - Norwell area.”
“There is no better place to get your chocolate. Not only amazing candy, but so many gift ideas. Dick & Debbie have been friends of mine for many, many years. Not only the nicest people, but truly the best candy. The fudge was always my favorite! I love this place!”
“Loved the ice cream here!!!! Got the chocolate twist initially !! I was tempted to go again and got white chocolate ice cream later ❤️ best ice cream I’ve ever had ?”

727 N Main St, Brockton“A friend of mine has gone on and on about Gowell's (he grew up nearby) for years, and I was finally able to try them for myself when I received a nice, giant box of assorted chocolates for my sugar-loving heart. My box is a mix of milk and dark chocolates, and has creamy centers, caramels, nuts and maybe some others I haven't tried yet. The chocolate is smooth, the smell is heavenly and the chocolate covered marshmallow was exceptional. As was the one with the strawberry center! He said the malted milk balls are great, hopefully that will be the next thing I get to try!”
“Great service! Although less caramely, their version of the turtle equals that of Philips Candy House. That's huge! I'll definitely be returning for Valentine's Day.”
8AM - 5PM
35 High St, Boston“So be aware this shop is a tiny space. Every nook and cranny that can be used was, but that is part of the fun of exploration. It can feel overwhelming, but I decided to dive in.
I was greeted and asked if I was looking for something in particular. I like chocolate, but don't love it, and usually only crave it now when PMSing. I went straight for my go to which is dark chocolate with caramel. I also got the mint chocolate, and the one she suggested (Which of course tasted the BEST and I wish I had gotten more of) caramel praline with almonds dark chocolate and sea salt. I was so good I almost went back. I will agree that the dark chocolate caramel ones I got were kind of basic, though nice, nothing to write home about. But the other two- so worth it!
It is not cheap, but for me it was worth it. I barely looked at a 1/10th of what they had to offer. They even had some non chocolate candies. I would recommend popping in. It was a welcomed surprise.”
“If you are looking for any type of nut or candy, here you are to find what you're looking for. It's not the same as when it was on West Broadway in South Boston with the display cases and penny candy display. All the selections are there. I was looking for Brazil nuts. the salesman went in the back and the employee fired up the oven and roasted the nut right then and there. While waiting, I selected some Plantain chips, dark chocolate chips, pistachios, and a half pound of non-perells. A great place to go when you're looking for the right ingredients.”
“Very chiche interior. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I'm not a fan of over sweet cheap chocolate. The chocholate here is very high quality and made with natural ingredients. I enjoy chocolate on the bitter side and they had quite a few options. I snagged a few things and will def come here again based off the yummy samples I tried.”
10AM - 9PM
800 Boylston St, Boston“If you are looking for some tasty fancy chocolates, this is the place to go to. They have some of the best chocolates I've had. The prices are a bit spendy, but you do get what you pay for. One of my favorites was the strawberry-curd chocolate. It's like a great strawberry cream shake. It's a must try!”
10AM - 5PM
28 York Ave, Randolph“Absolutely amazing customer service. Worked very hard to turn around a large order for me in plenty of time for our Valentine Smiles for seniors project. The marshmallow heart toppers are perfect, beautifully wrapped and perfect for individual gifts. Can't wait to order again. THANK YOU”
“It is a fantastic place with fresh chocolates, prepared on site, Maribel is very friendly when serving, and the chocolate is of excellent quality, I could say it is the best chocolate I tried in Boston.”
“Meredith was such a big help, I needed a last minute order for 40 cubes of sugar lips and online was going to be crazy for shipping. She put everything aside for me and helped me get exactly what I needed in time. It was a pleasant customer service experience which is so hard to come by today!”
“The food and the decor was absolutely beautiful! But our waitress was very friendly but the wait time for dessert and the check was really long. Also our appetizers were brought out the same time as our meal so unfortunately our food started to get cold early. Other than that the experience was amazing! They gave me a lovely birthday scoop of ice cream and sang to me. It was a good experience”
“Received three kinds of the candy as a gift for my 90th birthday. Needless to say, I am hooked. Fantastic doesn't really describe it but I will no longer be using my previous candy stores. You notice I said plurals. This was the best gift I received in celebrating my 90th birthday. Of course there was some small bottles of wine to go with it. L Truthfully this gift was outstanding. THANKS.
