“We found the Vitoria in Everett* so amazing we made the trek through the city every few months to stock up. I was SO happy to see one in Quincy (a 15 minute drive instead of the 30-90 minutes to get up there from where we are).The meat selection was top notch, great prices, friendly/helpful staff (we don't speak Portuguese), nice selection of produce, grocery items and spices, including what appeared to be prepared sauces (I'm a huge fan of chimichurri). The chicken wrapped in bacon is THE BEST, picanha is a fabulous cut for large gatherings, they also have a great variety of delicious sausages.*I actually don't know if the stores in Quincy and Everett are related, but they have the same name and the sign logo looks the same.”

“I was looking for a fairly hard cut to get and of course, Savenor's could provide. It was a 3 lb lamb shoulder. Even my local butcher couldn't get it for me this time. I was thrilled to get it. I was getting a delivery from Savenor's (they deliver to Boston neighborhoods. Maybe other towns, but I don't know) and it came on time and the order was accurate. I wanted to get my order over $99 so I could have a delivery discount, so I added some meats I would usually buy anyways and I threw in a couple different types of sausages they make. The reason I feel motivated to write this review is because of the Chorizo they delivered. OMG!!! I think it may very well be the most delicious sausage I've ever had. Not kidding. So good! Can't wait to taste the lamb after we smoke it, shred it, put it on pita with feta, tzaziki I'll make, lettuce and some juicy tomatoes. I'm pretty sure the lamb will also be amazing. Get yourself to Savenor's if you're looking for interesting cuts of meat that the supermarkets don't have and for their amazing sausage.”

“Best quality and amazing prices! Yesterday I went and found the same organic tomato sauce that Whole Foods sells for a few dollars less expensive. The meat is also fantastic and they will cut it to your preference in the back.”
“The staff is always friendly and the meat is good quality. The prices aren't bad as well. They cut up the meat to your liking. I have been going to them for the last 6 years. They are conveniently located. There is no parking lot but you can find some street parking around.”
“I've previously reviewed Lamberts, but I should parse the review. Plaza Fish Market is 50% of the reason why I love Lamberts. To be real, it's basically a butcher shop. And excellent one, btw. Great value. For fifteen years I could buy fresh scrod (haddock, cod, whatever) for $4.99/lb. Crazy, huh? Thick rib-eyes for $8.99/lb. Salmon for half the price you'd see from other local fishmongers. So, folks are telling me there's a pandemic going on and prices are doubling every time I blink. But I still love them.”

“Not sure where all the bad reviews come from. The asian buns here are solid and this is my go to spot in quincy when I'm craving roasted barebque meats. My favorite to go to item here is their crispy roast pork. Their meat is always silky succulent and tender. Skin is also always crispy, light and airy.”
“A shout out to Derek and Phil at the Hingham store! My parents have been shopping at the Fruit Center since the day they opened and when Kinnealey came they were thrilled. Derek and Phil make a point of knowing all their customers by name, the place is immaculate, well stocked and their product is outstanding! They go above and beyond and have a special cut of meat waiting for my parents when we shop on Mondays. Highly recommend them!”
