Shout out to the American Legion Post in Weymouth!! If you're looking for a venue to host a family event this is the place! The Hall is perfectly set up with a separate section for food and easy access to the kitchen if needed. Handicap accessible bathroom with plenty of parking outside. The best part of our experience though was the staff!! We can't thank them enough for their flexibility and superior service!! From accommodating a special set-up time, to sharing tips and ideas for food set up, and calling in extra help when our guests list had unexpectedly doubled for a bereavement mass our family had earlier that morning and they needed more stock for the bar. Their quality service was a tremendous help and greatly appreciated! Please keep them in mind for your upcoming family events- you won't be disappointed!!

For anyone getting wrong Information about post 79 in South Weymouth.-one table seats 8 and the other 10 seat 6 people-our staff and volunteers that run the building are friendly and never rude to others- yes there has been line dancing lessons here which were last monthThank you-the commander’s granddaughter

Very unfriendly and clicky atmosphere.. The $10 cover charge doesn't even include a dance lesson. Their rule of only 4 peoplle per table isn't even posted and they have no diplomacy in enforcing their rules.
