“I met Tom a while back at New England Comics a few doors over from his shop. Great guy, down to earth comic nerd and super framer. I follow xmen pretty hard core. SO I have a pretty extensive collection of books and original pen and ink drawings. Guess where I had them framed? needless to say we geeked out over marvel stuff while framing my stuff. “Incredible attention to detail. I had a very precious and big watercolor that I entrusted to the shop. The owner gave a lot of personal attention to how I wanted things and had very astute suggestion on how to optimize the framing and conserve the artwork-- he was very knowledgeable about conservation which I appreciated a lot because it was a piece of art I really cared about and wanted to enjoy for years to come. I was pleasantly surprised by the final product, it looked even more spectacular than I imagined! I recommend to all of my art friends!”
“I had the best experience at Atelier 564. I brought in two pieces and I had no idea what I wanted in regards to the look of the framing or matting or glass. I left the decision up to the owner (such a lovely man) and when I went to pick up my pieces I was nearly in tears-- they looked SO GORGEOUS!!! The attention to detail was above and beyond. The owner has 40 years experience and is an artist himself. I could not be happier with how my frames came out. Absolutely stunning. I will never go to a different framer. The two gentlemen are in a class of their own. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I wish I could give them 10 stars! If what you're having framed is important to you, please go to Atelier. I doubt there is a better framer anywhere. I'm so grateful to have found them”
“Cute and tucked into a lively and growing part of Hyde Park. Tons of small artists exhibits with most stuff for sale (expensive in some cases but worth it). Was there for a St. Patty's day musical/open mic night and loved the crowd, vibe and the art. Will definitely be going back for more events”
“My husband and I have had two pieces of art framed at Page-Waterman Gallery & Framing that were a bit tricky to frame. The first piece we bought from the artist direct in Spain and it needed to be gallery wrapped. I took it to 10 different places and they only had standard wood frames that wouldn't work with the piece. The team at Page-Waterman worked with me to perfectly wrap it so that you could view the art from the edges like it was meant to be. It looks amazing in our sunroom and reminds me of the Spanish whitewashed towns we loved!The second piece we got framed is an enormous original piece of art we bought from our travels to Morocco this past year to put next to the stained glass on our staircase. It is a heavy canvas and needed a nice yet rustic looking frame. The team at Page-Waterman did an excellent job working with our budget to pick out a perfect frame and frame it for us. We just hung up the art and are in love with how it looks and the quality of the frame! We will be back to get many more pieces of art framed here.Plus, my husband and I found that all the employees here are very knowledgeable, patient, and willing to work with your style and budget. “I always enjoy browsing this store but often don't find much. One exception was when I scored some sweet coolers here at a significant discount off retail over the summer. I find the lighting and "artwork" here kind of tacky and low quality but they have some good functional items for organizing and for laundry as well as festive tableware and cooking items like measuring cups at good prices. Also check the Home Goods in the same plaza if you're looking for something specific.”
