I have been to every scrap yard around the Area . And this one is the best the people there r great from the yard workers to the scale house Tara and Abe r top notch. The guys at door 2 r always helpful Shawn really knows his stuff . Joe in the crane has saved my back one to many times . CID and Dwane run a tight ship in the scrap pile and there is a lot to handle in that part of the yard . God Bless all the yard help and sorry if I left anyone out .

Had them cut a 3/8" steel plate for the front of my subwoofer enclosure to hold the weight of the subwoofers and give me a solid brace point - they got it done super fast and it came out absolutely perfect. They have awesome staff who will ask the questions that need to be asked to ensure that you are going to get what you went there for.
Even if you are unsure of what you exactly need and want to just brainstorm an idea, I highly recommend visiting or calling them and seeing what they say as they might be able to come up with a solution for something you may not have thought of.

740lbs of steel, iron and aluminum was quoted as "tin" and I was payed 38.00 dollars. My first time scrapping metal, but after looking at receipt and thinking about what I actually left there, I was definitely ripped off.

I purchased $13,000 of corten steel to be plasma cut by them. They sent me half of what I needed and to top it off they installed the wrong cad file into the plasma cutting machine resulting in over half of it being cut wrong. The branch manager came down after a debate over the phone from a fellow named Nick. They did not believe me and were completely unprofessional. I had to spend hours sorting through all the pieces that were cut wrong and sent them back. after the third delivery of steel I still did not have all the pieces. I emailed them the time line of events and how it set my company back 12 hours fabricating pieces of the steel that were cut wrong to so I could keep going on the project. After it was all said and done they responded with we bent over backwards to help you. I'm sorry but if you cut $13000 of steel wrong you don't tell someone you bent over backwards for them. This outfit is a joke with a bunch of clowns working for them!

This company proved to be a stand up provider of alloy there were a couple issues with my order but it was handled in stand up fashion. I will continue to use the in the future

I used to use them exclusively for my steel and metal sales before covid. They were always friendly and had good prices. Post covid, less quality...prices are still very competitive, customer service has since tanked with phone only service. Still using them for now but getting a lil impatient

They quoted me $40 for a piece... I get there 4 hours later the price jumped to $73. Guy told me they must've quoted me steel prices, which was odd considering General in New Bedford quoted me $43. So mid city lost a good customer today. I won't be bringing scrap nor buying from them any more. There are plenty of other places around that won't try to rip you off and WANT your business.
