Selling and buying a home is stressful. Thank god the actual moving part wasn’t. These guys are true pro’s. We have moved a few times and without a doubt I can say that this was the best experience I’ve ever had with a moving company. We had a large move, and were nervous about getting it done in a tight timeframe. Not only was the quoting process realistic, but the actual movers were fantastic and everything went to plan. Very courteous, respectful and treated our belongings like we would. Do yourself a favor and use them.

I had to move from 2 locations on the same day. The crew was professional and made a stressful day truly a pleasure. They used great care in protecting my property. I would hire them again in a minute. Again great crew and great process.

Honestly, one of the most disrespectful companies we've ever worked with. My family and I booked this company last year for a move from Boston to Pawtucket and they were fine. We decided to come back since we knew they could hold overnight due to a move to New York in the upcoming weeks. The owner told us he would wave the overnight fee as we were returning costumers. They proceeded to send us the quote and all was well. We then asked them if they could facilitate an additional move from our current apartment in Pawtucket to a different address in Pawtucket down the street. They agreed and sent over a new quote charging $2,000 for the move down the street with 3 men estimating the move to take 5 hours (the move from Boston was done with two men and they were finished packing the truck within an hour and a half). Within the new quote they also charged the overnight fee. When my father called to correct this mistake -- and double check that they didn't overcharge for the items (5) we would be moving to the new Pawtucket location -- they called him a liar. This is all despite having a record of their quote in our inbox. Disappointed, my father informed them of future moves that were inevitable between my sisters and I within the next years. He mentioned that we were hoping to continue working with them but this circumstance has altered our opinion of their integrity. They proceeded to insult him. Normally this could be chalked up to miscommunication, however, the denial of the previous invoice, overcharging, and the disrespectful comments are outlandish and unprofessional.

Very poor communication. Left multiple messages but never called me back as promised. Would never recommend this mover to anyone.

Long movers did an excellent on 5/30/24 for our move from Providence to Riverside. I can't say enough about Ryan and Yaya, they went above and beyond with a difficult move. This is the 2nd time using Long Movers and I highly recommend them

Took forever, went over estimate by 500 dollars, broke multiple items I specifically set aside, hid the broken items, and refused to pay for them. On top of this their operations manager Brandon, was rude and condescending on the phone, flat out refused to reimburse for items discovered after the fact, and hung up on me twice when I called them about it. It's one thing to get screwed over by movers, it's quite another to have them rub it in your face and be condescending about it. I went with Long because they were recommended by my realtor, but I will be actively discouraging people from using them in the future and will ask my realtor to do so as well. Moving is stressful enough, don't use movers that leave you feeling bad about the experience afterwards.

They were on time and were very friendly and had a very super knowledge of what to do and were very efficient in every step of the way. The 2 gentlemen that arrived made themselves "like family" and I can't say enough on how they represented themselves and the company they work for. If you get any other movers other than Long Moving & Storage...well you have missed a blessing!

Excellent service! Our movers got the job done with care and as quickly as possible (all while being extremely friendly & uplifting as this was our biggest move yet). Brandon M. was great to work with, easy to contact and very professional when answering our tons of questions! 10/10 would recommend Long Moving for your next move!!

Moving stinks but I had a very good experience with Long Moving this week. I rescheduled my move date multiple times, the booking process was straightforward, and I didn't sense an ounce of frustration from them with my scheduling shenanigans. On the day of the move the lads were very pleasant, efficient, and delivered everything in the same condition it left the old place in. Pricing was honest and fair. Thank you!!!

Absolutely couldn’t be happier with Long moving company. From the first email with Jalen Perry and Perry Long to the follow up after the move was beyond professional and amazing.Jalen was not only personable, professional, courteous, thorough and accommodating he was also extremely patient and understanding with all the changes that occurred within my move and unfortunate circumstances.I would highly recommend Long moving company over and over again. Made me feel like and important person and customer. The prices are extremely reasonable and the whole team were great! Excellent and exceptional service from Jalen and team thank you so much and will be using long moving in the very near future!! Thank you Long Moving!Used for second time this week and outstanding service from Jalen coordinating everything again and being patient and understanding. The moving men were very professional and friendly. Brandon, the manager, didn't fully explain the differences between piano types. Also, I take some blame for the number of boxes I originally told him, it ended up being many more. This caused some confusion, and miscalculation, but overall everything worked out. I would hire them again.

This is the worst business I’ve ever hired and worked with. The guys that were actually moving our stuff were great. However, their general manager Brandon was THE most rude and disrespectful person/business I have EVER worked with in my life. He angrily raised his voice when talking to my wife on the phone while asking a few questions, which is completely unacceptable and in appropriate, about why they sent their small truck, which had to do two trips because it was too small, even though we told them we had a lot of stuff and would need a large truck to fit everything, and then he said “I don’t even know who you are!!!” when I got on the phone so he wasn’t yelling at my wife. He just kept angrily yelling, and was vehemently defensive about sending the small truck. Well Brandon, you were talking to the woman’s husband who you were berating and disrespecting, and the person signing the check that pays you. Absolutely the WORST moving company to use on the Southcoast of MA/RI. I will be telling all friends and family to stay away.

Believe all the bad reviews, it's real this is the worst company with have the unfortunate chance to deal with.We cancelled our move and ended up driven ourselves! They are a moving broker, they DO NOT HAVE THEIR OWN CREW ITS A LIE! they will get you business then hire a difference team to pick ,and another team to transfer to home to your next location! The sale man Russ will give you the best quote out there with great discount just to get your business, yet will not write down your items list properly , which will be updated later with the dispatch team to make sure your stuff fit in the truck. Ah yes the truck "your tings will fit in the truck , most likely you will have your own truck because of the space you are using ". Also " there is only 1400miles to drive so with DOT regulations you will have your items at your new place in 2 days". Well nothing we agree upon happened, and we lost $2500 in the process.Quoted us low, ($7000) to increase the amount of space they will actually use during verification ( added $900) to then show up with a small truck with other people stuff on, and ask at first $1500 extra , then $2000 extra as worst case scenario if our stuff need to be pack outside the truck!! What??. They mentioned everything is included: break down and wrap furniture for free, and will also bring enough crew members to load everything quick. Well 2 skinny guys showed up with zero fitness level, and ask $1500 for packing furniture because even though we had wrap and pack everything ourselves it wasn't enough according to the loading company! Well at least your stuff would get there in 2 days right? No think again ! The loading team was going to get our home to Chicago in a warehouse , where other people things would be mixed up and probably broken and the semi truck would only load our house sometime that week and then many arrive at new location the following week aka it can take at least 2 weeks to get you home back!! The quote with discount was $7000, then $8000 on revision day , then +$1000 on moving day which came down to be hire then a quote I had the Mayflower!. Your deposit is theirs you will never see that money again even when the revision acts as a new estimate, they don't change the date and screw you even if you are with 72hrs of move and in your right to cancel. I'll make my mission to review bomb them everywhere their name shows up! Scammers and thieves period!
