“What an amazing bead store! Such a huge variety of loose beads and charms to choose from. We drove half an hour from Massachusetts and it was well worth it. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, the shop has great lighting, and offers everything from findings to beads to wire and tools. Highly recommend if you miss this type of beading store (we used to have a couple of good ones in Cambridge and Boston years ago).”

“I landed in Concord to meet a client for dinner. As i was early I wandered into this arts snd crafts store. Upon noting the quality of workmanship I mentioned to the clerk - whom I later found to be the owner- an idea for a pair of "tear-drop gem stone earrings." I was told they might have an artisan who would be able to create my feeble sketch. Within a few days... to my surprise they emailed me with a photo of gem stones, sketch and a quote. Very reasonable compared to other jewelers in the same berg, no less. Gave her a credit card and got a delivery date. A few days later another email offering a variety of gold clasps. A few weeks later I picked them up and they were stunning. WOW... Seamless, excellent quality and reasonably priced ... Concord, MA no less. GO”

Recently, I have required their knowledge with regard to more family heirlooms. Jeannie and one of their resident appraisers were so very helpful in appraising the family Jewlery, which is difficult after my loss. “I am not a shopper but I stumbled upon Patina Green while I was in town visiting a client. I love this shop!!! Some practical items and some whimsical. I have never shopped at Patina Green without making a purchase, and have gotten some really cute and unique items for my home. The staff is always kind and attentive but they do not hover, so I find the experience to be relaxing. Love that I can purchase a gift and leave the store with beautiful packaging so I don't have to deal with wrapping it later. I live in Central MA and have not visited since COVID restrictions have been lifted but I cannot wait to visit again and see what gems I can find. If you have the opportunity to visit in person or to shop online this is a great small business that deserves your support.”

She specializes in getting locally made items, as well as Acton, Concord, Maynard, Sudbury et all adjacent towns which is fun too. Whenever you buy something from her and her wonderful staff - they will wrap your items in tissue paper and put it in a cute bag which honestly has become the gift bag I use in the end. She's created such a wonderful addition to the West Concord shopping district.”

“Ladies… if you ever need a hat for a special occasion this is your place! I will be attending a wedding in Scotland this summer and have been looking for a fascinator for months. I did not want to purchase this type of item online and was quickly running out of time. I came upon this store and found exactly what I was looking for! The assistance provided was amazing; the owner was extremely patient as I tried on many possibilities. I left the store very happy with a lovely little hat for a reasonable price. In addition to clothing, they have a lovely collection of jewelry and I couldn’t help myself and bought two pairs of earrings for the event as well. So happy to find a quaint little shop like this in a world filled with generic box stores!!!”

Keith Shaughnessy at Countryside Trading is professional, straight forward, and reviewed all the coins in an orderly fashion. We had a preliminary meeting and exchanged a few phone calls, then Keith bought the bulk of the collection going step by step through each coin. Very knowledgeable about the business.
