Today trip to the post office was very disappointing. Customer service at the Westfield Post Office on 8 W Silver Street was horrible. I went in with questions on shipping a box and gentleman behind the counter was less than helpful and full of attitude. I was shipping a box and asked for a piece of tape to tape the address, so the ink doesn’t smudge, was told that I have to pay $3.50 for tape or send priority to be able to use some tape. When I asked few more questions about my package, he was absolutely clueless and rude. In this holiday season it was extremely disheartening. A little generosity goes a long way, and he has none of that.

Edit: after expressing my concern I received a call from the acting postmaster David. He went out of his way to talk to me for 20 minutes on his personal cell phone and made me feel valued and addressed my concerns. Also a big shout out to Ryan the supervisor who has also gone above and beyond just to be pleasant and accommodatingAbsolutely terrible service. I have been hung up on and talked to rudely by both supervisors zack etc. I was told that the mail carrier would get to me when he gets to me. We run a business where they pick up our packages every day and we provided over $40,000 in revenue for the Postal Service last year alone. They could care less and still when I call to have my packages picked up even when I put an online request I end up sitting on hold until I give up or being talked down to. Absolutely a travesty of what the post office once was

Sure. They collect the mail and send it out. But they’re not very friendly and when you ask for anything it’s like you’re putting them out. They may still have “the least expensive postage I’m the world” but I’d rather have better service than what you get here. It’s worth the drive to go to a different branch if you prefer working with friendlier folk.

100% useless westfield office, looses packages and or says attempted to deliver but never did. Head post master I Westfield SUCKS and will blame you instead of admitting the messed up.

Horrible post office. April, was rude, does not know how to respectfully treat customers. Totally Zombified. Supervisor was almost as bad. He does not know how to resolve customer concerns.Go to a different post office. Packages that are marked as delivered to this post office go missing and all the front counter clerks say, check with the shipper even though tracking states it was handed to someone at this post office. Totally incompetent staff.

I have a terminally ill, severe special needs child who is not recieving her supplies. I keep getting told they are "unable to deliver to a safe place". I am home 24/7 and no attempt has been made to deliver. I have a private porch so there is NO reason to not deliver. And.... No one answers the phone at the Westfield office and the 800 number wont allow you to speak to a person. I am homebound and cannot get to the office to pick up (which is why I have them delivered). This has been going on for over a week now and I'm missing 3 packages!
