Andy was so helpful and generous with his time and advice. We're total amateur DIYers, and we came away with exactly what we were envisioning for a shelving project.

The owner is an older guy and has his quirks but I found him very honest and had no issues. Very reasonable prices. I bought some oak to match my large Victorian baseboards.

Give your money to another business. People like Andy do not deserve to make it. What an absolute nightmare of a human being. Incredibly disrespectful and entitled. Do a quick Google Search and find another place.

Called in to ask about the price of wood chips, only needed about a yard for our chicken run. Guy on the phone felt the need to complain to me about how he wasn't going to put the bucket on his tractor for a yard. After I explained that was all we needed he felt the need to yet again tell me he didn't want to do it and proceeded to hem and haw about it. After that drama he told me he would do it but he WAS NOT happy about it, as if me giving him some business was an inconvenience. Told him I was going elsewhere. I refuse to give my money to someone like that.

Good lumber, fair prices. It's nice to support local businesses such as these. The owner is helpful and has an all-knowing confidence that comes from years of working in an industry and knowing it like the back of your hand. Looking for trendy rough sawn wood, they have tons and happy to unload some from their plentiful stock. Need something cut just for you, they'll accommodate in any way they can if you just ask. They mill everything on site and have quite a few options to choose from. About as straight forward as it gets, you need wood, they've got it.

Andy has been really good to work with. Took me a bit to get his dry humor. :) The quality and prices are amazing, quality being much better than any of the big shops. I was given some advice on a project that was extremely helpful, in addition to services that were difficult for me to do at home. Andy glued up a large assembly of boards I picked out and planing them down to make a desktop out of Cherry that I could now finish at home. Grabbed a bunch of white oak for a built in shelving project and the planing / jointing job was excellent, made it very easy to cut to length at home and start gluing up to get to the desired depth of shelves. Pricing was a LOT less than what I estimated at HD/Lowes. Quick turn around as well. Wish I had known about this place before 6 months ago. They have some great slabs available at WAY less than other places, plus they can do some of the large initial milling work to get you started unlike other places.

Andy is honest and always accommodating! He is also a good person to go to for wood projects and business advice! I have been a customer for over a year now and am happy with how well I am treated every visit!!!

Great place to go for lumber! A little over half the price of Home Depot (who excused their lumber prices on the pandemic, which is a farce).Andy (who I assume is the owner) was very accommodating and friendly...He personally picked out the ten foot pine boards and he planed 3 sides, ran them through the table saw and cut them down to 5 feet. The wood was fresh and smooth. It was great being there to see the whole process.. it's been too long.Andy showed me a fine cedar chest that he made, with book-matched curly maple lumber. I uploaded the picture on this FB page.Definitely gotta a go there. Saturday from 7:15am until noon is the best for retail customers..
