Since Dollar Tree bought them the store is a lot cleaner! Brand new shelves and freezers. Still boxes blocking all the isles though.

The store's prices are pretty affordable (which is what you would expect for a family dollar). The food quality here has taken a turn for the worse sense COVID began. I have come home from this Family Dollar many times with spoiled food that was months past it's expiration date that was still on the shelves. I got physically sick at one point when I consumed some of it (some of which was milk products). The service from the people who work here has also gone down hill sense COVID, it is either a hit or a miss (I would give it a 50/50 likelihood of which it would be). For non food products you should be safe, but if you get food here I would recommend reading the expiration dates before hand, and if it does not have expiration dates on it than I would not buy it. To give this Family Dollar fair credit I will say that most of my problems with buying food here and with customer service I did not experience before COVID.

I went in to the Famiy Dollar in Westfield Ma a few days ago and I couldn't believe the condition of this store. No organization, boxes piled up in aisles, nothing was on shelves, random spills in the aisle. OSHA would have a field day as it's a hazardous environment. I noticed loitering and looked like drug deal in store. Nobody was there to help. Long lines at checkout and staff were miserable. But I can understand that. Either fix the store or close it because someone will get hurt in there

So total nightmare. Store is unstocked filthy, cashier was I think high, Franklin St Westfield Ma...corporate needs to check this location out because it's disgusting.

I came into looking for a tarp and some plastic totes, neither were in stock. It smelled like a dirty baby diaper and no one bothered to ask me if I needed any help finding anything, however the woman stocking was very concerned that someone was going to be mad about the door getting fixed... I couldn't believe how empty this place was, looked like it was ready to close down- I'll go up the Rd to dollar general in Southampton...this place MN reds a real Manager bad!!!
