So I looked all over for a one time groom for my standard poodle. As my regular groomer had a family emergency. Yes it had been about 10 weeks in between, so his hair was a bit matted in places. Soon as we brought him in they immediately started on him. Shaving him down to his skin. I figured this might have to be the case. After 2 hours he was done…..not sure as to how they did everything in 2 hours. They let us know it would be $200.00. Never have I heard of such a thing. They did say they both were out sick for sometime. So they needed to get to work and make some money. While clipping his ears they actually took a piece of his ear flap. Yes they did!!I would not recommend anyone go here.

We've used Country Clipper for our standard poodle for the past 4+ years. Our dog is a bit anxious and needs gentle encouragement and reassurance—she has always been treated with patience, care and respect, and she comes home looking beautiful. We live about 40 minutes away and choose Country Clipper over local groomers every time because of their professionalism, experience, and commitment to treating dogs with the love they deserve.

Our experience with the country clipper was all that I had hoped for and more. We have a rescue sheltie who bites out of fear and is afraid of a lot of things! Country Clipper were professional but very kind,friendly and knowledgeable. They said they would only do as much as the dog would tolerate to prevent a bad experience for both dog and groomer. We followed their pre appointment suggestions and were very happy with the results. They were able to accomplish almost all of the grooming making him look like a new dog and giving suggestions for the next time. He’s so soft we can’t stop petting him.

Best place in westfield to have your dog groomed. Very professional service, always friendly, and they know what they are doing. My dog always looks great and smells amazing. My dogs love it. I have tried other places in a pinch and they never looked as good as the country clipper. It is worth the wait to get in. They are well experienced and knowledgeable in what they do.

If you're a new customer looking for a grooming place DO NOT go here. They have close family friends write all of their reviews and they lie about their experience. The bald man also shoved me after I was nothing but polite. Never in my life have I had a service make physical contact with a customer, incredibly unprofessional. He also grabbed my dog at the door without consent , even though he's very sensitive, and they will take your dog to a backroom where they are not given the proper care whatsoever. Can't say enough bad things about this place...stay far away.

Brought my dog here before. I warned them on the phone my dog may be difficult when getting his nails clipped, and they assured me they had 40 years of experience and there's no dog they couldn't work with. I get there and they stiff-armed me at the door "due to covid' and grabbed my dog from me, no introduction. 2 mins later come out, basically shove my dog back at me and say they can't do it. Then go on to lecture me that he should really see a clipper soon.

I cannot recommend this groomer enough. The husband and wife team are consistent and are fantastic with the dogs!We recently took our alpha, puppy beagle to another groomer that is closer to our house and within 3 minutes called my husband to come get her. They said they couldn’t even get her on the lead. We called Country Clipper and they fit us in and took beautiful care of our puppy.She is clean and sleepy (my favorite part of the groomer trip). They are very friendly and incredibly reasonable!
