I’ve been a citizens bank member for over 13+ years and I’m very disappointed. I’ve been trying to order money and I keep getting pushed around. I call 30mins after they open to make sure my order goes in and they say “sorry it’s too late and we can’t add to the order” how hard is it to just put the order in!

I went here with my wife to open my bank account for the promotional bonus. $300 will be awarded if there was at least one direct deposit of $500 within 60 days of account opening. We asked if it was alright and if it would qualify to use the required amount from my wife’s account and deposit into my account. The bank manager and two other employees were all there with us and they all said it was okay and didn’t see an issue with it. Nobody said otherwise. We called multiple times throughout the promotional period to see if everything was all set and when we can expect the bonus. Each time an associate said everything was good and should receive it soon. A few times nobody called back after they said they’d return our call if we left our number and they’ll take a look and check. 4 months later we haven’t received anything. We went in person today to figure it out. The same bank manager took a look and said that it doesn’t count. We explained what had occurred 4 months ago and he denied it. Not even an apology or even an effort to help us get the bonus they promised we’d get. So much for exceeding customer expectations. This was my first time experience and will be my last.

I’ve been with Citizens Bank for quite a few years now. West Springfield Citizens Bank staff was amazing and I never once had an issue with anything. Until it closed and I had to go to the westfield location. One of the staff from the west springfield location, Carl, transferred there and has been absolutely wonderful. But when he was not there I have not had one good experience here and the most recent one really ruined my relationship with Citizens. After the bank manager and a couple other associates were assisting us opening a bank account for my husband for the promotional bonus of $300. Everyone said it was alright if we transferred the $500 from my account to his. The bank manager himself that was okay. 4 months later we come in person to ask why we still haven’t received it and the same bank manager took a look and said it didn’t count. I had called throughout the promotional period to make sure everything was okay. Nobody mentioned anything. I explained what had happened 4 months ago and he denied it. No apology or even an effort to help us. Beyond disappointed with the quality of service from this Westfield location. I’ll be taking my money elsewhere.

the manager is rude and condescending. they have a high turnover of employees. Is it because of him? or is it because of the company? He is definitely no one I'd want to work with. go to Peoples Bank, Westfield Bank, a credit union, any place but here!
