Since we have a very selective taste in rare whiskey we’ve gotten to know the staff in the Whiskey Department pretty well. Time after time the Supervisor Craig has conversed with my husband and I about our whiskey journey, has made selections according to our taste and whenever he helps us he will always go out of his way to even check in the back for our favorites. We genuinely look forward to our biweekly trip to see if Craig is working and let him know about our last purchases. He exudes knowledge and confidence in the products he suggests and his customer service is Michelin five star quality. I truly think he deserves a huge raise for being such a valuable employee for Total Wine. You definitely wouldn’t want to lose such a beneficial leader.”

“I have been shopping at Turnpike Smoke Shop since long before the whole Covid fiasco. Of all the smoke shops out there, these guys are by far the best. Great hours, knowledgeable staff, good selection. I have dealt with the owner myriad times, and have never heard a negative word. Then again, I never go in there with a chip on my shoulder (reading the other comments). It's kind of a hike for me, but if I have the time, it's where I go. They beat the prices of anyone closer to me, even with the insane changes Massachusetts has been making.”

“We like Julio's selection and their prices aren't bad. Some of their staff is knowledgeable and helpful. And my husband and adult son have enjoyed some of their whiskey nights and that kind of thing. However, we were there Sunday (3/24/24) and the guy behind the counter was really surly. His one job is to put stuff in a bag and tell me how much it costs, while I stick my own card in the credit card machine, so really his important function is to be pleasant so customers want to return. I don't get why they would even hire someone like this. The rest of the staff is generally cold and aloof, but he was quite rude. I know this is Massachusetts but people don't have to be obnoxious jerks.”
