Smith Sullivan and Brown have been doing our taxes for almost twenty years and I can tell you personally, that they are dynamite! Best accounting Firm I've ever dealt with, by far. Highly recommend using these fine professionals.

I contacted this accounting firm about 15 yrs ago for my nonprofit. The first few years they were great. As the firm grew I felt invisible. Eventually, when I contacted them they told me they had other projects and would get back to me . They never did!!!

I spoke with their nice receptionist about hiring this firm. She had me leave an email message for Maureen Sullivan. I received no reply after 2 days. So, I called back and was told to leave a voicemail for her. I did. It was never returned.

I've been using this firm since Linda Smith started it in Framingham back in the early nineties. They have saved me from myself an incredible amount of times lol. I'm a former accountant, and believe me they know what they're doing, otherwise I would have done them myself and lost molar, because I didn't understand the laws like they do. If I have ever had questions, they answer right away and are more than willing to help. They are by far the best, over the years I have never hesitated to recommend them. You cant go wrong

Smith, Sullivan, Brown PC is TERRIFIC! I consider them the *Number One Accounting Firm in the Northeast*. Our non-profit started working with them in 2012 after a statewide search for a firm to perform audits of our financials. We interviewed over ten small and mid-size firms; it was immediately apparent that Smith, Sullivan, Brown PC was by far the most professional, organized and competent among the group. Linda Smith responded to my initial web inquiry promptly and took ample time to patiently assess our situation in a preliminary phone call; we then had a take-in meeting at the Westborough office with another partner to delve deeper into our operations and assess whether we were a good fit for the firm. Again, I was blown away by the professionalism, patience, sincerity, and kindheartedness of team. Our yearly audit goes smoothly each time due in large part to the operational improvements they've recommended and the positive attitude with which they engage clients. Our financials are sounder and our checks and balances stronger. These women LOVE their work, they are exceptionally thorough in the work they perform, they genuinely care about their clients, and they are enthusiastic and proud of their mission. My sense from the outside is that Smith, Sullivan, Brown PC also has a very strong, positive workplace culture. I've met several other Bostonians who use Smith, Sullivan, Brown PC and all have the same rave reviews. I'm a big fan of the firm, the people who work there, and the work they do. I highly recommend Smith, Sullivan, Brown PC.

We have used this company for 8 years for business and personal taxes. Every year something has been wrong, nothing big just relatively minor things. But the big problem is attitude. If you ask a question or ask them to explain anything Linda Smith freaks out. She offers the worst customer service I have ever come across from a business professional. Her attitude is that you are supposed to automatically know and understand everything she does. If you did you wouldn't need her services! You pay an accountant the big bucks to do what you don't know. You have every right to ask questions and any good accountant will happily take the time to answer questions and explain things to you. If I ask a question in an email she writes back saying I'm screaming at her!!!??? It's truly bizarre and very unprofessional! I'm paying for her services and doing nothing wrong but she attacks me if I dare question anything. This year she did our business taxes and I she made a mistake, a costly one for us. I emailed and simply asked what happened and again she freaked out and told me to go somewhere else! I told her we would gladly go somewhere else next year but lets get through this year. I paid the bill immediately for the business and sent our personal taxes. She refused to do them and mailed them back with no explanation on April 8th!!!! That leaves us no time to find another accountant! She really should not be in business, she can't emotionally handle dealing with the public. I can't emphasize enough how shamefully unprofessional her behavior is. Stay away!
