delivery service is rotten. Delivery scheduled Tuesday. Got call Tuesday morning saying "items hadn't been picked" (pulled together for truck to pick up and deliver). They gave me new date of Thursday. Same thing - they called Thursday saying not picked yet. I asked and was told they'd put in a note (ALL CAPS!) saying order not picked twice -- rescheduled for Monday (now 6 days from original delivery). Called Sunday evening to confirm it had been picked and ready for loading. NOPE - still not done. What do I have to do - go in person and camp out, make a stink to the store manager? This is ridiculous.

I made the mistake of buying a toilet from Lowes in Westboro. I didn't realize that Lowes now outsources plumbing services to Angi !! Angi made an appointment for an install on a date l couldn't be home . l tried to cancel it on multiple occasions but was unable even with little help from lowes or the staff at lowes responsible for install. It really didn't matter trying to cancel it as the plumber never shower up ! They rescheduled another appointment for between 6 and 9 PM on Wednesday night ?? I contacted the Store manager John...........canceled my order and he assured me its canceled . I like a dope believed him ! I just got a bill from Lowes for the purchase price on my statement . I contacted John again ( 4th time ) and he said he was sorry and FORGOT to put thru the cancelation.......I WILL NEVER STEP IN THAT STORE AGAIN. Now lm being harassed from Angi's looking to due business with me by text message on all kinds of service ....

I moved to Florida with my husband, still own our house in Gardner Mass which our son and family lives in. The refrigerator stopped working, so went on Lowes site looking for a fridge found one on sale ordered it and had it delivered. Obviously being in Florida we weren't there Sunday when it was delivered, but came with dents and definitely was not a new one. Can you imagine a retail store that sends out an appliance in that shape. The driver said that's what it looked like when he picked it up from a Boston warehouse. There respond was "OH we will give you 10% off" the bill. The kid had the all the food taken out and needed the fridge, so he accepted it. Lowes thought you would do better than that. Obviously Never again will we and hopefully anyone who needs an appliance BeWare of Lowes!!! Mark and Brenda Guarnieri

I noticed there are several parking spots near the front for veterans. That's fine, you know, if I am disabled in some way. But if I am a 30 year old veteran who is not disabled, I don't need a reserved spot to park. Save that for somebody who needs it. Not all veterans do.

Will no longer buy appliances here nor anything that deals with deliveries. Delivery people did more damage than good and getting Lowe's to fix the problem or seem like they care just adds to the awful experience.

Went today to get a space heater and a fireplace grill and Ozzy helped us out big time! He was incredibly helpful and even helped us carry things to the register. The man!

One star is overrating them. Lowe's is the bottom of the barrel of not only home improvement stores, but retail stores in general. I am a contractor and do a lot of business with this store, only because it is in my town. I always say that for all the square footage they have, they never seem to have what you need. Their prices are already high and they are consistently over charging at the register for something that is marked at a certain(high) price, especially with wood. Be aware of this. This is starting to take up so much of my time that it actually may be more efficient to run to Home Depot 15 mins away in the next town over. It is also really ironic how these price differences never work in your favor. Which leads you to believe that they know exactly what they are doing and just hope that most of us wont notice. The wood is awful. You can pick through a pile for 15 mins to get 10 straight boards and if they sit on the job in a dry room for 4-5 days they turn into twisted, unusable material. The grade of wood is sub standard and overpriced. Return policies are set up so that you will either lose your receipt and will not be able to return things or use your Lowe's card(which is a joke) and it will say that you purchased things over 90 days ago when you are sure you didn't. Funny how many times they have said that it was 90 days over and when I put up a stink, they wound up finding that it wasn't. Again, seems like their hoping most people are too busy to deal with these issues they create. Sales associates never seem to be able to get you the information you need. Corporate has set it up so managers hands are always tied, because it is much easier to blame everything on policy. And if you have a problem with these policies, here is a number you can call and be put on hold for an hour. Special orders always take longer than they tell you. With the exception of a few younger lumber department employees who help out and work hard, this place is nothing more than a complete hassle to deal with. After doing business with them on many levels, it continually feels like they have developed so many quiet ways to screw their customers. Not the way most of us want to feel, especially when spending a lot of money. I have come to the realization that it is totally worth driving further to a store like Home Depot that's policies and prices treat it's customers like they want our continued business.

We ordered two, non-special order, in-inventory front entry doors in October to be installed before the cold weather. But each month thereafter we were told the manufacturer didn't have them. Finally they arrived in March. We waited for the installer to show up on the scheduled day for which we took a day off from work. No call, no show. We called Lowe's. They had no idea. I said I wanted my money back for the doors and install. They said they'll have someone out the next week. Doors finally installed. We asked the store rep to see if management would give us some amount of credit for all of this hassle. No response. Home Depot will now get our business. Do not use Lowe's for installs. Poor customer service the old fashioned way.

This would have been 1 star if it weren't for Cody in receiving. Ordered washer and dryer for delivery. Never got a time window. Called today to inquire and was told it's not being delivered because it's not in stock. And Lowe's doesn't tell me either ? Pathetic. Fortunately I got connected with Cody and within 20 min he had sourced it from another store, fixed order and routed to us in 2 days. This man is a gentleman and handles business as if it were his own. THANK YOU TO CODY !!

I used Lowe's (Lauren N.) in Westborough MA to help me pick up out my kitchen cabinets and granite countertop and the whole experience was a disaster. Here is everything that went wrong - most of it is Lauren's fault because she is not detailed oriented and the other fault lies with the unconscionable business practices of Lowe's subcontractor for granite/marble countertop - Discover Marble and Granite - avoid using them at all cost - they tried to charge me for something they said would be free and refused to provide a breakdown of materials, labor and sales tax - all I received from Lowe's was the final cost of the job - so I cancelled it. Here is what else went wrong: 1. The people Lowe's subcontracts with to measure my kitchen for the cabinets were 3 hours late to the appointment and continually called and said they were coming when they knew they were not. 2. Lauren misread their kitchen measurement and ordered a 30 inch cabinet for a 36 inch cabinet space. She also originally told me there were no 9 inch cabinets in the cabinets I wanted even though I had already seen them on Lowe's own website - turns out they were not in her design book. 3. The cabinets were delivered without the two 9 inch cabinets. 4. When my contractor went to install the cabinets he noticed the 9 inch cabinets were missing and that Lauren had ordered a 30 inch cabinet for what should have been a 36 inch space. 5. Lauren spent several emails arguing with me that the 30 inch cabinet was correct when it was obviously incorrect and her mistake. To her credit, when I finally went to the Lowe's store that weekend (and I live 2 and 1/2 hours away) to see about getting the right cabinets delivered she admitted her mistake. 6. Lauren said Lowe's delivery people were too busy so she couldn't get the 3 cabinets that it was her and Lowe's fault were not delivered for another week and a half - and this is after her mistakes set me back by a week and a half because my contractor couldn't finish the kitchen cabinet installation. 7. So I had to get the cabinets myself picked up and delivered to my condo - and I didn't get any refund from Lowe's on the delivery fee I paid them. 8. I have already noted the mistake Lauren N. made on the sink - it was too large for the backsplash for the countertop to fit (even though I specifically asked her about this) - so I would have had to pay extra to have the backsplash milled down to fit by Discover Marble. I told Discover Marble I would prefer to buy a smaller sink and have them come back to measure but they said they would mill it down for free. 9. I was given one number to pay for the granite countertop by Lauren at Lowe's - when I asked for a breakdown of what that number entailed - she said Discover Marble didn't give her a breakdown. I then told her the milling was to be free. Turns out Discover Marble had charged me for the milling. 10. Upon reflection I cancelled the order because any vendor that provides only one number is not a fair and honest vendor (and in this case they had charged me for something they said would be free) and after calling and talking with Jenny at Discover Marble - the Lowe's rep there - I understand that Discover Marble couldn't even understand why I needed a breakdown of the costs - even after they charged me for something they said would be free. 11. I spoke today with another company that provides the same services as Discover Marble in Grafton MA area to see what billing practices they have and they breakdown the bill by costs of material, labor and sales tax - information any consumer has right too and which Lowe's and Discover Marble would not provide to me.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced, purchased a new range it came in damaged they had to come back to my home to pick up damaged one before they'd order me a new one, been a month and a half still haven't received my new range, and I've all ready paid for a range- double oven I don't have, try to call the store is a joke I got hung up on- disconnected 6 times, then was put on hold for 39 minutes, can't make this stuff up, what a joke Lowe's is.

Unfortunately I'm giving Lowes a bad review. We are constantly building or renovating houses and have had numerous issues with orders here. More recently, and I understand that we have Covid right now, however, every order that I have made has had an issue online and in store. It seems items are constantly missing items from my orders and orders are missing in general. One of my windows was missing from an online order and I had waited over a month to get one of the windows. Then they had to reorder and then it came in a couple weeks later. Another window order with 4 windows that I also waited over a month for got "lost". The guy reordered and then about a week later someone called me and said they had been in the back the whole time. Which delayed our project. Roofing for our tiny home came in and we brought it home all wrapped in plastic so it was hard to see what was in there and we are missing 2 items and one item was damaged. I have had to deal with a lot rude people during this and employees that just really could care less about helping customers. On top of that when you call....forget about it!!! I've been screamed at, transferred a million times to different departments and no one answers the phone! There have only been a few people that were good here and at the Worcester location. One manager and another person at the Worcester location helped me this weekend and I do appreciate that. I go here because it's convenient and since we do so many projects I really needed them but I guess I'll be searching for a new place to do business. It's really a disappointment when such a big company doesn't have it together. I don't know how they stay in business. This makes me very sad

Aiming to get my Garage Door installed by working with Lowes. BAD IDEA. PROBLEM 1 - The initial process was painful and long. The person helping me (Rich if I am correct) had no idea how to work the system and I had to go back to the store atleast THRICE to complete the order. Each visit required me to ask questions or seek clarifications for which additional staff had to be pulled in as he kept saying I am not sure how the system works or whats needed. (I thought that could not be beat. I was wrong.) The Manager ultimately stepped in after my third visit and she helped close things and answer questions. PROBLEM 2 - After I placed the order n 11/15, I kept waiting for an update. Per the contract they are allegedly supposed to get the install done within 30 days. Well it's 12/6 today and I'm yet to hear anything on the update. There was no appointment scheduling or updates provided. I called Lowes and after about 83 minutes on the phone (involving multiple internal transfers by Chris, Ikky and a Representative who had no Idea Lowes helped with garage Door Installs) finally spoke to a gentleman (who never gave his name) who assisted follow up with Installs and get an update that I should maybe hear something by next Wednesday (12/11) or Friday (12/13). Dealing with Lowes has been such a disappointment and I would not recommend them to anyone. Pure waste of time dealing with these guys and all I hope now I do not have to waste more time getting the installation completed.

Really disappointed with the installation service. Do not use this location for installation. It took forever to get the installer to come and do the measurements. Now I'm still waiting to have the doors installed. The whole ordeal has been going on since the end of July. It's now November. The store is absolutely NO help. I had spoken to the assistant manager when I went to pay for the installation because I was having a problem with the guy who was trying to edit information. He had paged 3 times to have the manager come back and they still didn't. I had to go up front and speak to him myself. It was ridiculous. I should have known then it wasn't going to go in a good way. Meanwhile I've been waiting for the installer to come and the store keeps calling me to see why I haven't picked up my doors. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!! This place is a joke.
