I started going here 2 years ago. With a couple of older vehicles between my wife and I, we've had more repairs that we would care to admit, but have had an overall positive experience.
Pros - They have a front desk and the woman who usually staffs it is helpful and very knowledgeable, they take appointments and generally can take you within a day or two if you're willing to give them the car for the day, they're transparent about pricing, and the mechanic usually calls to discuss any work and the estimate before proceeding. We've had no surprise charges or unwanted work done. They also do inspections. We also had a repair issue that needed to be repeated and they honored the warranty for the very expensive part with no questions. Overall they're very communicative and transparent.
Cons - Sometimes they require a deposit for a part. They usually close right at 5pm and are closed on weekends.
We'll continue to go back and have been pretty happy and satisfied to date.

I have been going to Erickson's for nearly 20 years after discovering them while living in Westboro. Despite moving nearly 20 minutes away I'd never go anywhere else, even for an oil change. Great people and great service!

Beware, they charge you 3% for using a credit card UPDATE I have the correct place. I was charged $36 for a $35 inspection sticker.

I've been here twice, once for brakes and rotors, then for an inspection. Both times, I found the staff to be friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are on point and had no issues with scheduling. Happy to have discovered them.

Overall horrible experience. Will be filing a complaint with the BBB. Initially staff was very nice and communicative. Had them try to fix an oil leak and asked them to see if there was anything they could do to diagnose the problem with a backup camera. Which they couldn't because it was an European car. Had them fix a part of an oil leak but could not confirm exactly where it was coming from. They fixed a part where they suspected it was coming from but couldn't confirm and charged 40% over in price than what the price would be from a dealership. Picked up the car and within 24 hours the entire car has now stopped working completely. Gave them a call and staff was unwilling to look at the car and said there is nothing they can do because it was a European car. My father looked at car and saw that they didn't even wipe off oil or clean the bottom of the car to determine where the leak was coming from. overcharged on service and overcharged on parts. $540 for what should of been simple fix has now turned into my car cannot drive at all. Staff especially the front desk was extremely rude and said that its not their responsibility to clean any parts or do anything further. Would not recommend this garage to anyone. Overpriced drastically compared to certified dealership service, and staff is rude and disrespectful and did not do service that is acceptable.

Good, friendly hardworking people. I have been taking my car there for inspections since I moved to Westborough (Wish I could give them some actual work but I do all my own and I am poor lol) and never had a bad experience. It's tough owing a garage. Everyone wants something for nothing, and everyone always think that a shop is trying to rip them off. Be wary of the bad reviews. $310 for a wheel bearing is not a bad price depending on make and model. As a former mechanic I know what to look for if a garage is reputable or not. If you want an honest garage that you can trust, give Ericksons a try.

Over charge on some of there parts especially on wheel bearing ,,I knew it was a rip off on the price just for the one front wheel bearing the price was 310,,, it said on my paperwork RF wheel bearing 310 just for the part,, no labor, unless from a dealer no body should have to pay that price just for the part. I called five parts stores and the dealer of the car the dealer was cheaper too. thank you. I can not recommend them for that kind of work to expensive..I will not use them my first time and my last time. They could be good at other things but I don't know.

I’ve been taking my car to ericksons for years - their prices are reasonable, cheaper than other places, and you always get a straight answer about what is wrong with your vehicle- there’s no unnecessary upsell. They have fit me in twice when I’ve had emergencies with my vehicle.
