We were an hour late to checkout due to some fishing delays (car couldn't get out of the parking lot), and they threw out my clothes that I left in the room. No lost and found apparently. The clothes are ruined, garbage juice all over it. Luckily we packed up everything else ahead of time, or they would've rushed to throw those out too. Ice machine was broken too

I guess I was expecting something better based on the reviews that I had read. My experience was an unfriendly front desk person that showed no interest or concern about us as people. The literature said there was a restaurant, but when I got there, it had been closed and not open until the day I left. it did have a pool which looked OK. The rooms were dingy and need a pay job. The bed was good, but the views were poor.. the hotel looks better in pictures than in reality. Also, I did not appreciate the fact that they took $200 deposit for a two day stay
Rooms: It would behoove the owners of this property to go around and paint the rusty and moldy parts in the bathroom. It is not a nice experience to see the lack of maintenance, especially with your prices being so expensive. The room and conditions should reflect the price.

For the price, this place was great! Room is basic but well cleaned. I’ve been in 2/3 stars that have made me uncomfortable and this was not that at all! I wish the curtain could black out, but that’s the only real miss. Maybe busy road too but that made it convenient too. Pool was really nice! Worth a stay for a quick trip, for sure! Good restaurants nearby.

Lovely location in West Yarmouth across from historic Baxter's Gristmill. The Tidewater sports indoor/ outdoor pools. Vast, beautiful views of the estuaries and the wildlife.

Always enjoy our off season visit to the Cape and have been staying at The Tidewater Inn regularly since 2008. The rooms are clean and spacious. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The view of Lewis Bay is lovely. The indoor pool is warm and inviting.Nearby activities: 5 minute drive to beaches. Lots of great dining options on Rte. 28 along with mini-golf in season.

I went on vacation in September/2023 and it was very bad, like it had never been before; I brought my sister-in-law to spend a week with us and it wasn't pleasant at all! To conclude, a tropical storm was arriving on Friday and we had reservations until Saturday but decided to leave early due to bad weather warnings; So I went to the reception desk to ask the employee if we could leave early and if we would get a credit due to the bad weather. The girl said that we would not have credit but rather a credited stay for the future; He asked for my email and said he would send me the credit; To this day we have not even received an apology for the bad smell in the room and the lack of transfer of management. I won't go back there again.

Very, very disappointed. We have been going to the Tidewater, off season, for some years now for the private tub rooms. The tub faucets are well past due for repair. We weren’t even in the room an hour today, when I found the tub faucet to not only be greatly leaking from the base (where attached to tub), but the leak was also carrying disgusting black grime particles and pieces into the tub. Absolutely unacceptable!! Previously, in one tub room, you couldn’t drain the tub unless you sat and held it manually open to drain until finished. The need for replacement of these faucets is glaring and quite unfair. We drove two hours, four round trip and wasted half a tank of gas in my pickups truck. Unfortunately I think we will be looking for a new establishment for future trips.

Super-nice location. I was put in a far building with upstairs room and balcony and standing in the balcony I could see the pond. I felt so fresh with the green lawn and the deck chairs and pond. location is nice, not far from ferry and bus station and stores. It's in South Yarmouth which is close to Hyannis and Hyannis has everything. All of these are Cape Cod's small towns. The front desk people were nice. Room was spacious with everything. I stayed there from October 6-8, 2023.

The place is relatively clean & the bed is comfortable. Otherwise the place is a complete dump. There is neither a place to sit nor an accessible lobby. The restaurant, "Helens" offer no menu; coffee that is served in paper cups and no breakfast choice other than pre-fab eggs, dried out bacon and some miniscule pancakes. This dump is located on motel row with numerous other choices. My suggestion is to cross this one off your list of places to stay.
