I remember making the journey to Chilmark pottery in 1999. Before cell phones were invented I used MapQuest print out and was so enchanted when I pulled up on the property. I love the vibration of this art. I love walking through it all and taking it all in. I dream of going back and only recently broke the bowl I bought back then. And came here to see if they were still open. I will certainly be making the trip this summer to replace my bowl that I had for many years.

This place is full of the most incredible pottery. There is something here for everyone. I highly recommend supporting this local artist, as everything is hand made with love. The colors and finishes are incredibly eclectic and elegant. From plates to mugs, everyday cups and specialty items. The hardest choice you're gonna have to make is figuring out how to take everything home. I was gifted mugs from Chilmark, and am so excited to visit and shop here for myself. My wife and i will cherish the additional cups and plate ware that we now own.Thank you Geoffrey for your beautiful artwork!We cant wait to share it and the story of it's design with friends and family as we use it throughout our lives. Masterpieces galore. Dont forget to visti the backyard shelves on the backnof the store. Its truly astounding. P.s. LOVE the cool modern touches like the dog bowls. You could spend hours in admiration of this art.

Thanks for all the kind praise for Chilmark Pottery. The reason it's named Chilmark Potter y is because my brother, Geoffrey Borr, began his business while living in Chilmark. Later, he moved to the current W. Tisbuury location where he's lived and worked for over 40 years. He must be doing something right. :-)
