Thank you ! We have had low air in one of our tires 2 times and realized we must have a slow leak (probably nail) and stopped into Troys. Although he was swamped and unable to look at the tire , he was kind enough to fill up our tire so we could journey on. Much appreciated!

We stopped by as Troy was trying to close up, but he very graciously took the time to check things out. Fortunately, we didn’t need immediate repairs, but we were very grateful to Troy for giving us peace of mind and an action plan. Highly recommend!

I've been driving for over 40 years, lived all over the United States, and am an amateur mechanic myself (who knows when he's out of his depth and needs a pro). I can honestly say I've never found a better shop in all those years. You feel like you're going back in time in the best possible way, with expert personal service, no nonsense advice, extremely fair pricing, and a genuine commitment to customer safety and community reputation. They always find a way to work you in if you have a safety issue or an emergency, even though they're always insanely busy. Friendly, hyper-competent, honest, fair... this is how you stay in business for generations.Simply wonderful, there's a reason all the reviews here have five stars and this place doesn't advertise. what a dude. After seeking advice from no fewer than 5 mechanics in at least two states for what seemed an ominous shuddering in the system, John and his team at Troy's Garage in West Stockbridge probably saved us $3000 (which was the estimate from our dealer). The problem we were having to date has not repeated after John took the time to diagnose and offer a solution that he thought might or might not stick >crosses fingers< but which has to date. On our way home from visiting family in MA, our front breaks went on our truck. We looked up local garages and found Troy's. The care and service we received was amazing! They were busy, but took the time to help us out.Service: Auto brake replacement

I was skiing at Catamount with my son. When we left for the day I heard a scraping noise from the front of the car--turns out someone hit my car while in the Catamount parking lot and knocked something loose. We were staying at the Shaker Mill Inn and saw Troy's auto body shop next door--it was a bit after closing but I called Troys and they answered the phone!! I explained the situation and they said they'd take a look at it in the morning. John took a look, fixed the problem, and test drove the car with me. Cannot recommend highly enough! !!!!!

I blew a tire while driving in the area, which I'm not at all familiar with. I looked up auto mechanics and Troy's was the closest. I called them up and they were friendly and professional. I was told it would take a couple of days to get a new tire and was somewhat concerned that it would not get there in time. But as promised, it was. The new tire was put on, they also did a quick check of the others. It's a family-owned garage that has been around for years. Everyone there was extremely professional, friendly, helpful and warm. The cost for everything came way below my expectations. A great experience overall.
